    Joy was born and raised on a small farm in Southern New Hampshire, USA. After completing a study abroad program in Australia and graduating with a degree in sports marketing and international business, the travel bug had bitten.

    Joy spent the next 2 years couch surfing Western Europe, she then went on to teach English in South Korea, and later became a Cross-fit trainer in Abu Dhabi before eventually making it to the sunny island of Phuket, Thailand.
