*Sogno DJ*

Ho realizzato un sogno sul quale avevo messo da tanti anni una pietra sopra.

Il sogno era quello di vivere in un posto con tanto sole, dove poter fare tanta attività fisica e dove poter intrattenere e far divertire le persone facendo il DJ.

Il sogno non solo si è realizzato, ma è già andato oltre ciò che io mi sarei aspettato.


Background.-

Ho iniziato a fare il DJ all'età di 13 anni.
Un'estate, ho chiesto ai miei genitori di poter lavorare invece che stare solo in vacanza, e con il loro permesso ho lavorato in una fabbrica di ghiaccioli. Ho guadagnato sufficienti soldi per poter far costruire una consolle da DJ con mixer integrato e tutto ciò che mi serviva per animare una festa privata.

Dai 13 ai 18 anni fare il DJ è stata la mia passione e interesse più grande.

Nel 1975 sono arrivate le radio private in Italia e non mi sono fatto pregare per cercare di entrare da subito in quel mondo che offriva tantissime opportunità di sperimentazione e apprendimento.

Sono stato DJ radiofonico, direttore musicale e poi direttore generale di stazioni radio, dove ho sempre cercato di portare innovazione e idee nuove, e un'impronta musicale riconoscibile.

Dopo i 30 anni ho però gradualmente abbandonato questo forte interesse, tenendomi stretta la mia grande collezione di dischi e i gloriosi giradischi Technics SL-1200 MKII per i quali avevo riservato un intero spazio attrezzato e funzionante dentro la mia casa.

Negli ultimi 10 anni ho continuato ad ascoltare e a scoprire musica interessante, ascoltando soprattutto podcast di DJ e mettendo da parte tutta la musica interessante che man mano scoprivo.

Nel tempo ho anche creato playlist e compilation, da sempre una mia grandissima passione, e con l'arrivo di Internet e di strumenti adatti al poter condividere ho iniziato a raccogliere e pubblicare collezioni musicali di vario genere.



La sorpresa è arrivata del tutto inaspettata e non pianificata, venendo a vivere su questa isoletta del Messico che si chiama Holbox.

Qui, fra le tante meravigliose scoperte, ho improvvisamente realizzato che il sogno, oramai abbandonato e pieno di ragnatele, aveva le condizioni ideali per poter tentare di ritornare in vita.

E così, senza pensarci due volte, ho preso la decisione e ci ho provato.
