    Trusting The Light Within

    Trusting The Light Within
Each of us carries within us a unique essence, I call it our ‘birth light,” the spark that lights up and gets us excited when we find and act on our true purpose in life, our “Why”. But life tends to make us doubt ourselves. So, we shy away from our inner light. We are so afraid of shining our own light that we close the doors, pull down the shades, draw the curtains and try to hide from our true purpose in this life all because we don’t trust ourselves. What a pity! This episode, I share with you my personal journey of claiming my birth-light, discovering my “Why” for The Aquitaine Project and taking steps to manifest my aspirations of supporting girls and women around the world. And it all began by Trusting The Light Within.

    Finding Your Calling

    Finding Your Calling

Jesus instructed us to stand firm in our calling, but have you ever wondered what your "calling in life" actually is? Does it feel like other people know their purpose while your left scratching your head trying to figure things out? As a follower of Jesus, these things matter, but if you don't know your calling you won't be able to stand firm in it.

In this week's message from Meta Church, Pastor Ricky Ortiz walks us through the process to discovering your calling in life and knowing how to stand firm in against all opposition.

    Discovering Your True Purpose

    Discovering Your True Purpose

There is no denying that 2020 has been one of the toughest and most trying years you and I have ever experienced. But what I also know is that God is still God, and that I will continue to trust Him and keep my faith strong through all of it. I’m doing this because as much as it may not seem like it right now…this too shall pass. Things will get better and when they do…we need to be ready. Which means it is now time, more than ever before, to ask yourself if you truly and wholeheartedly know your purpose. Because if you do, then it’s time for you to fully begin walking in it, and if you don’t…it’s time for you to make discovering it one of your top priorities in 2021. In today’s episode, I share how it was many years before I truly knew what my own purpose was, how I finally discovered it…and how you can, too.

When You Discover Your Calling – Adam Rinehart

When You Discover Your Calling – Adam Rinehart

God may use unexpected situations or experiences in your life to reveal His purpose for you – sometimes even giving you a new calling. Today on the podcast, Crystal is chatting with Adam Rinehart who serves as Associate Director, Special Needs Ministry at Calvary Community Church in Southern California. Now Adam didn’t expect to have a full-time career in disability ministry, but listen as he shares how God used a few important experiences to open his heart to serving families impacted by disability.

Read more from Adam at www.joniandfriends.org/a-life-changing-experience.

Joni and Friends was founded in 1979 by Joni Eareckson Tada who in a diving accident was left a quadriplegic at 17 years old. Ministry began as Tada, joined by friends around her kitchen table, responded to letters she received from people with disabilities in search of support. Over the past 40 years, the ministry has grown to serve thousands of people impacted by disability worldwide: Joni and Friends has delivered more than 150,000 wheelchairs and Bibles through Wheels for the World and provided Christian care to 63,000 special needs family members through Family Retreats. The organization also equips individuals and churches with disability ministry training and provides higher education courses through the Christian Institute on Disability. For more encouragement, download the Joni and Friends radio podcast in English or Spanish, and view inspirational videos on the Joni and Friends website.
