How do we continue to support underrepresented non profits?
September 21 is North Texas Giving Day. It is a day where people can donate online to the charity of their choice, over a span of 18 hours.
NTX Giving Day is the largest community-wide giving event in the nation. This event is spearheaded by the Communities Foundation of Texas and their mission is to improve the lives of all people in our community by investing in their health, wealth, living, and learning.
On Ask the Expert, Dr. Froswa Booker-Drew joined the KRLD Afternoon News. She is the the Founder of Soulstice Consultancy, and is one of the top consultants to non-profits and organizations all over North Texas, including Communities Foundation of Texas, the known face of North Texas Giving Day.
She spoke with KRLD's Kristin Diaz about the importance of this day to underrepresented non profit groups.
