Having an Attitude of Gratitude - Amid adversities (Part1)

The sufferings of mankind are real, the pain and afflictions are real.
Can I remind.... He promises to take care...... - There is one who is the Greatest, He is God who cares about us all.

He promises He would take care of us… despite our flaws.

God is saying- “give me your cares.” It doesn’t matter what it is- give Him your burden, give Him your worries; give them all to Him in prayers.

You must trust, believe, and walk righteously to get the benefit of what the word of God says.

For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

    Isaiah 41:13 KJV

Miracles Do Happen - Be Hopeful

Miracles Do Happen - Be Hopeful

I have learnt that, as a people, we should not be partial or be prejudice towards others. Often times than not, we do it, sometimes not intentionally but it happens. We also have to be mindful how we treat or how we accept others. What we give out to others, our rewards come right back to us, whether we believe it or not. That is the reality.

    Quotable Quotes:

Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment.”

    John 7:24 ESV

For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.

    Psalm 91:11 ESV

Somebody once said - listen to the message don’t look at the Messenger. Sometime lives could be spared, we could be saved from awful situations. But we pay more attention to who is delivering, and at times become bias. Only because we don’t accept the Message.

    Your Help Is Coming

    Your Help Is Coming

We should never judge a situation on appearance, because of how it or looks on the outside. We should rather judge by facts, the hard truth. With facts we cannot go wrong. When we judge by truth, there will be more understanding, more appreciation and respect for one another. More importantly, God’s peace will reign among us as people.

There is Hope – In The Midst of It All

There is Hope – In The Midst of It All

If you develop the habit of counting your blessings, you may be better able to appreciate the positive things of life that remain even after a painful event like a loss of job or the passing of a loved one. Helping others, even when you are struggling, can increase your positive mood, feelings and outlook on life. You will be able to gain renewed perspective.

    Quotable Quotes:

…. God never change, He never fails- He certainly will never let you down.

The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26 ESV

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
    Isaiah 41:10 ESV

Do not Give In -There Is Still Hope

Do not Give In -There Is Still Hope

What is it you are going through at this time, and you need a quick answer or solution? Have you been seeking approval of somebody? Maybe a friend, a relationship; a business partner, people from your organisation?

You are not alone; there are others like you and myself. Do you know there are others who have gone through some hard trials of this life and perhaps still going through some really tough situations?

Some are able to journey through smiling and still maintain their God given peace- what a blessing!

     Quotable Quotes

Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.. 1 Peter 5:7 ESV

Be encouraged my friend... encourage yourself in the Lord!

There is Hope… Go out today in victory, in Jesus name.

What Happens When You Follow Your Passion: A Story of Never Giving Up with Kelly Gunn

What Happens When You Follow Your Passion: A Story of Never Giving Up with Kelly Gunn

Have you ever wondered what could happen if you just followed your passion? In this interview with Kelly Gunn, owner of Part-Time Pickers and host of the Crazy Good Vintage Podcast, she shares how she changed careers at age 54, followed her passion, and created a job she loves.

In her early career, Kelly was a retail goddess. She was really a name to be known. She worked with A-list brands and was incredibly successful. All of this success drove her desire to start her own business in the retail world. But after several ups and downs, she still ended up working for someone else. Except for this time, she was working with lower-end B and C-list brands. She felt stuck, anxious, and miserable where she was. When you’re feeling this way, this affects not only your career, but it spills into your personal life too.

Enough was enough, it was time to follow her passion. On the side, Kelly had been reselling vintage finds as a hobby. This was something she loved, so why not go for it? Kelly turned her social media page, Part-Time Pickers, into a sensation. With over 75,000 followers between Facebook and Instagram, she has a huge base of vintage buyers. She has created something really amazing, her engagement is huge and her buyers truly feel like they won when they score one of Kelly’s finds.

Kelly is on track to make more this year than she has in her entire career and she’s doing something she loves and spending time with her family. She is a true testament to the reason to never give up. Kelly reminds us that no matter where you are in life, no matter your age, how low on the bottom you are feeling...you are in control of your destiny. She promises when you build a business you’re excited about, no one cares how old you are.

Now, as this episode airs, Kelly is debuting her brand new podcast all about her vintage passion. Crazy Good Vintage is her new show with a focus on the story behind vintage items and even other successful vintage re-sellers. This isn’t the last you’ll hear from Kelly Gunn for sure. Between Part-Time Pickers, Crazy Good Vintage, and a book in the works, her passion is on fire.

    What’s Inside:

    • How Kelly followed her passion and built something incredible.
    • What can happen if you don’t give up.
    • Age doesn’t matter in business.
    • What’s new for Kelly?
