From our recent adventure there to a lively discussion on its rising popularity, we get the ball rolling by appreciating all things Disney. We also dive into the success of the Haunted Mansion movie, pondering on its box office performance and the shifting movie viewing trends among different age groups.

As we saunter through Downtown Disney in Anaheim, feel the magic tingle in every corner of the Star Wars gift shop, brimming with phenomenal Disney merch. Don't miss our virtual tour through the Grand Californian, a unique hotel built atop shops in Downtown Disney. From access points leading to the hotel, to the lobby fireplace that we encountered, we cover it all. Our final stop is the Disneyland Hotel, a delightful blast from the past. Picture this - a wall of history, a mural of nostalgic Disney artifacts, and the thrill of taking a snapshot in the Autopia car with a cast member! We also share our experiences from the pool area, Trader Sam's, and the monorail that makes a grand entry into the hotel. Lastly, we relive the Alice Comedy and the 100th-anniversary rug that served as a perfect backdrop for our pictures. Take a walk during the Christmas season from the elevators at the Disneyland Hotel, through Downtown Disney, and right down the middle of Main Street USA ending right past the castle.

I take a moment in Town Square and then slowly walk down the street, encounter some Main Street vehicles, walk up through the Hub and Partners statues and straight through Sleeping Beauty Castle’s drawbridge.

Day of Notes: It was a sunny morning with rain forecasted for noon. Lines were nonexistent at the Security checkpoint and the turnstiles were about 20-30 people deep. Audio has been edited to remove the security line and the bulk of the wait at the turnstiles.
