5 Life Changing Lessons By 25

    What is your true potential?

    Surrounded By Idiots

    Surrounded By Idiots

We live in a society comprised of a rich and colourful variety of people. This salad of personalities makes life creative and compelling. However, we are all guilty of judging someone, I myself hold my hand up.

As someone driven I would judge people who weren't as ferocious in their drive or those who didn't shoot for the universe. On the contrary, people also judge those who do take a disciplined and ambitious approach to life.

I decided to read the enlightening psychological behavioural book  'Surrounded By Idiots' by Thomas Erikson. It helped me empathise and understand those who are different to me.

In this episode we will cover the 4 main different personality types, the pros and cons of each, and how we can best communicate and interact with each other. So we can have stronger and more harmonious relationships that colour our lives.

    Advice for Graduates

    Advice for Graduates

One of my team asked me what advice I would give to a graduate as she had been set this task for her niece. She wanted advice that wasn't the standard cliched response so I put some thought into it and decided to make it the topic of this week's podcast.

Here are the advice she was tasked to provide:

    • Don't be afraid to...
    • Be prepared to...
    • Always keep...
    • Don't allow yourself to...
    • Be open to...
    • Hope you always...
    • Hope you don't...
    • My last piece of advice is...

This is a worthwhile exercise to go through if you know a child who is approaching graduation. It is equally  valuable for college students, and for yourself too. What advice would you give your 18 year old self?

It is never too later to make a new ending to your story and it starts with reflecting on life, what you enjoy, what  you don't enjoy, what inspires you, what motivates you, and what you want your future to look and feel like.

Our aim is to help individuals and organizations to raise their bars and be on a journey of continuous improvement. Therefore it is important that you know your own values and align yourself with a company that shares those and has a culture that you can get behind.

Are you ready to Raise Your BARS and be the person you want to become?

We want you to become the best version of yourself and to do that you have to break away from the limiting beliefs that other people impose on you and step into your greater self.

We invite you to join our Facebook group, Raise Your  Bars  - Personal Growth Solutions, and if you are ready to reprogram your current belief systems, click here to watch our free webinar where we talk about how you can become a Legacy Creator or visit our website by clicking here.

Steve McQueen’s Lovers Rock, Alex Wheatle, and Education with Robert Butler III

At the top of the show, we take some time to explain why we are changing our name from Who Shot Ya? to the temporary The Untitled Ify, Drea, & Alonso Project. You can read our full statement here

After we take care of that business, we do something we’ve never done before – talk about three separate movies in one episode! And there is no one better suited to talk about these movies than our guest. This week we are joined by the host of First Cut on YouTube, Robert Butler III. He is here to chat about Steve McQueen’s remaining films in the Small Axe series; Lovers Rock, Alex Wheatle, and Education. Plus we answer a question from our hotline about which director we’d like to see helm their own Small Axe-type film series. And, as always, we’ve got ‘Staff Picks.’

    Staff Picks:
    Ify – BlacKkKlansman
    Alonso – Brute Force
    Drea – Spontaneous
    Robert – Uptight

Positive Pods - Do You Believe?

Positive Pods - Do You Believe?

    Hey there, Positive Podsters.

Today's episode is covering off the second of three key elements to a positive, happy and fulfilling life.

In episode 10, we shared the first element, Gratitude. And in this episode, we build on gratitude with BELIEF.

As the saying goes, "if you believe, you can achieve."  And I believe this is absolutely true. You have to believe - you have to have an unwavering belief in a positive future for yourself.  You have to believe that abundance, that health, wealth, happiness, that everything you want or desire is possible - and not only possible - but destined to happen.

    Do you believe?

Listen in on what the power of belief - combined with a heart of gratitude - can do to generate an amazingly positive, happy and fulfilling life for you and those around you.

    All of my best,

    Jim
