Mitch McCann: US Correspondent on the decision Biden has made in how to respond to the drone strike in Jordan
The US has decided on their course of action when it comes to retaliating to the drone strike that killed and injured over forty US troops.
Their response is likely to come in the next couple of days, officials saying that they will respond at a time of their choosing.
US Correspondent Mitch McCann told Mike Hosking that while they have a couple of options, it’s likely that they will target the militia directly as opposed to launching a strike against Iran and potentially widening the war.
He said that the militia responsible announced this morning that they will be suspending their operations, though it may be too late to avoid repercussions from the US.

Gavin Grey: UK correspondent on a US strike killing an ISIS senior leader who planned attacks into Europe
A US strike in Syria has killed an ISIS senior leader who planned attacks into Europe.
Khalid Aydd Ahmad al-Jabouri was also said to have developed the leadership structure for ISIS and been an integral part of their ability to conduct operations.
UK correspondent Gavin Grey says Khalid Aydd Ahmad al-Jabouri died in an undisclosed location and no civilians were injured or killed during the drone strike.

Demonstrators Gather in Dallas To Protest U S Actions in Middle East (2020) – CobCast Ep. 5
Considerably more than 100 North Texans turned out Saturday afternoon in Dealey Plaza to protest the United States' continued presence in Iraq and the recent American airstrike that killed Iran's top general, Qassem Soleimani, and four of his associates. As the protesters waved their signs and chanted their chants, people in cars zoomed passed them on Main Street. Some honked in solidarity, others rolled down their windows, gave protesters the middle finger and yelled "Trump!"
