Some would say it's rapidly approaching, the Singularity is near. So then the question to ask is the classic "Do Androids Dream of Electric sheep?" hmmm...does anyone? I don't feel the Monkey has the expressive words to describe Dreamcatcher by Tony Morello. This is the ultimate trip into pure emotion. It is a musical journey that slides smoothly through your mind and into your heart. Truly you can feel that Tony put his entire heart into this mix. It is raw and emotional, at times grievingly sad, at times hopeful and seeking life and light. Perhaps you will understand better knowing that Tony recorded this set in memory of his grandparents recently passed, and to celebrate thier lives, and their Native heritage. This is Tony's musical expression straight from his heart. As such, the smilingest DJ in the world is not afraid to show us his heritage and his heart. If Earl Von Bye was in Star Wars he would be Obi-Wan Kenobi. Jedi Knight: a shining example. Master: to some. Hero: to others. General: the highest rank. Crazy Old Wizard: hes been called that! Old Man Preaching Hokey Religions & Ancient Weapons: hmmm yes, vinyl records and SL1200's! Damn Fool Idealistic Crusader: yes especially this! We like to poke fun at old "Obi-Von Bye", but consider: That "old man" defeated the first Sith Lord in over 1000 years, went toe to toe with a droid general, the galaxy's badest bounty hunter, not to mention 2 more Sith Lords, one of them being the most powerful that ever lived, you may have heard of him: Darth Vader! The Verdict: More powerful than you could possibly imagine!

EVB has named this set after his hero and idol. His tribute to an unsung hero. Indeed those who know EVB will attest that he lives by a code like a Jedi and even exibits similar traits to his hero: Humble confidence, quiet strength, boundless courage. He is wise, calm, calculating. A deep thinker, maybe too serious at times. Dry sense of humour? Yes that too! This set was recorded entirely with vinyl records on only a pair of Technics SL1200's...An elegant weapon for a more civilized age. Please enjoy the story and journey you are about to hear.
