Kirstin Chickering: UCLA Public Health Worker // Knowledge is Power

Kirstin Chickering: UCLA Public Health Worker // Knowledge is Power
Let’s be real. Oftentimes being a teenager you think that you know EVERYTHING, especially when it comes to the Coronavirus. However, that couldn’t be further from the truth. Felt it was important to talk to an expert in order to better understand the science behind the virus, how it spreads so rapidly, and to learn about the vaccine. I interviewed Kirstin Chickering who is a Public Health worker at UCLA. Kirstin did her undergrad at Duke University studying International Relations and French; after she graduated she got a job working in Public Health that blended her love of traveling with speaking multiple languages. This led to a 30-year career in public health. Kirstin and I engage in an honest and compelling conversation about COVID-19. I learned so much from speaking with her and will guarantee you will too. Also a HUGE thank you to all of the public health workers for your job during this pandemic we really appreciate your work!

Alaa Abdelnaby - Philadelphia 76ers TV

Alaa Abdelnaby - Philadelphia 76ers TV

Alaa is a man who knows how fortunate he is to live the life he has. A standout at Duke who played in three Final Fours, a 1st round draft pick of the Portland Trail Blazers and a man with solid parents who loved and supported him in everything he did. On top of this, Alaa is one of the kindest and well-versed NBA veterans you will ever meet. In this episode we dive deep into how Alaa ended up at Duke, what it was like playing in the NBA in the 90s and we also get his take on the ever constant debate between Donovan Mitchell vs Ben Simmons and who's talent reigns supreme. Enjoy!
