It's time for the 14th episode of our trip through SNME 1990 and it's gonna be a fun ride. We are continuing our drive into the catalog of SATURDAY NIGHT'S MAIN EVENT & this amazing relationship between NBC/WWF as we make another stop in the DELOREAN. Episode 14 of Season 5 is this upcoming Friday and as per usual ACEFIELD RETRO returns with MIKE BELCASTER to chat about an retro filled happening! We start our journey to take a close look upon SATURDAY NIGHT'S MAIN EVENT XXVII (JULY 28, 1990) from Omaha Civic Auditorium in Omaha, Nebraska headlined by the Ultimate Warrior vs Rick Rude for the WWF Championship,  SATURDAY NIGHT'S MAIN EVENT XXVII (October 13, 1990) from the Toledo Sports Arena from Toledo, Ohio headlined by The Ultimate Warrior and The Legion of Doom (Hawk and Animal) vs. Demolition (Ax, Smash, and Crush) & THE MAIN EVENT IV (November 23, 1990) in the Allen County Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana headlined by The Ultimate Warrior (c) vs Ted DiBiase (w/ Virgil) for the WWF Championship. We chat about all the usual WWF happenings like titles changes, new debuts and just the importance of this working relationship with NBC & WWF.  The celebrities & goofy presentation are attempting to bring in the casual fans and tying in popular culture with some of the biggest names in WWF history.  Don’t forget to grab your weekly Shot of Nostalgia at 7 PM Eastern to continue FLASHBACK FRIDAY ON THE TAVERN. While Vinnie Mac wrecks havoc in 2023 we go back 39 years to Starrcade 84 and revisit Dusty Rhodes vs Ric Flair Tully Blanchard vs Ricky Steamboat Wahoo McDaniel vs Superstar Billy Graham and more! It's a weird shitty show and Andrew Lee and Gootz break it all down!

We kick off 2022 by looking at how WCW kicked off 1996 with a look at the month of January on the Prime!

WCW Prime was one of WCW lower-tier syndicated shows, hosted by Dusty Rhodes and Chris Cruise. The show contains a few gems, some of which should have stayed hidden. They have fun with it and so do we!
