    118: It's really easy to be a prude when you're not attracted to him, isn't it? | But I'm a Cheerleader (1999)

Another underrated 90s gem! I remember seeing this film ages ago and watching it again now was even better. Talk about a hilarious story with a great theme and an incredible cast! Me and Mikey talked about our love of Clea Duvall and Natasha Lyonne and how they are responsible for some of the most groundbreaking films of the era.

We get into the story of how Natasha was cast as Megan, the fashion and interiors that are to die for, and why Rupaul playing a  counselor is pure CAMP.

Off-topic rants include: why we're stoked for 'Nope', dream cast of a tv version, and the movie landscape of 1999.

    Graham and Megan forever!

    But I’m a Cheerleader

    But I’m a Cheerleader

This week, in honor of Pride Month, Sarah and Mary recap the cult movie classic, “But I’m a Cheerleader.” From the satire, stereotypes, and sexual innuendos to the star-studded cast (Natasha Lyonne, RUPAUL!!) — this movie is the best. The eyes-wide-open french kissing scene brings back a wave of less-than-ideal memories to Sarah, while Mary is obsessed with the name of the gay bar in the movie and wants to pay homage by getting tee-shirts made. Have a listen and some laughs as the girls share their thoughts on an already hilariously dark movie.
