Well, today was supposed to be Judgement Day and the Rapture, so we cooked up a special show just for the special occasion! We prepared plenty of jams perfect for your assent up into the clouds to meet with The Lord, or to party your ass off (or gnash your teeth to depending on your perspective) if you are left behind.

Dogtrane got deep into the moment, with fitting Disco classics like "Going Up In Smoke" and "Disco Inferno". Dog filled the hour with powerful, breathtaking, Rapturesque soundtrack Disco and Funk! It was a perfect set to shake your booty to as you awaited the sound of the trump!

I then followed precisely at 6PM... RAPTURE TIME!!! I played jazzy, funky pertinent jams as I awaited to rise up in my funky nakedness, then switched over to more worldly jams as it became apparent that the kook who cooked this up didn't inform The Lord to mark the day on His calendar. Here's my playlist:

Brooklyn Funk Essentials - "The Creator Has A Master Plan"
George Duke - "The Black Messiah (Part Two)"
Earth Wind & Fire - "Keep Your Head To The Sky"
LTD - "Love To The World"
Cloud One - "Dust To Dust"
    Pharaoh Sanders - "Astral Traveling"
Angela Bofill - "Under The Moon And Over The Sky"
    Jean-Luc Ponty - "Final Truth (Part 1)"
Incognito - "I Can See The Future (Ski's Main Mix)"
Pat Metheny Group - "To The End Of The World"

Altogether, one hell of a classic show, 7000 years in the making and not to be missed!!!

We returned after a 2 week hiatus with me still with my mind and soul firmly lodged in beautiful Aruba, where Lady E and I had gone for our 30th wedding anniversary, so I left the show in the firmly capable hands of DJ Dogtrane, and went back to bed to daydream.

Dogtrane did his thing with a nice eclectic mash-up mix-up like only he can do! All funky flavors are thrown into the mix, until he finally builds up to an orgasmic climax of pounding House booty bangers!
