This week Zach discusses his precious rifle series competition. He goes over the ins and outs regarding shooting competitively, what he learned in the process, the do's and dont's, how to get started, & and if it actually translates to hunting in the mountains. 

This week the guys discuss how to hunt elk in Montana for this up coming season. This episode is NOT tactics driven but more so focused on how to approach applying for tags in Montana as non-residents and residents. All non-resident info was gathered from personal experience and also fish and game. Don't hesitate to fact check us but our goal was to try and help/shorten the learning curve for all current and soon to be elk hunters of Montana this upcoming season. 

Dave Wootten suffered a career ending injury in the military and has also battled with PTSD. Dave sits down with the guys and tells his tough, but must hear story about his struggles by almost losing his family and even his life. One of the three things that Dave credits to saving his life is archery. Throughout the conversation we also talk about Dave's arrow setup for total archery challenge this summer, non profit work he is involved in, his relationship with Chris Hamm and HHAUSA, and his slammer Arizona archery mule deer. It was a true honor getting to know Dave and everything he stands for.
