A former 57th Overall MLB Draft Pick, Mitch Canham rose 3 levels in 3 three years as a manager in the Seattle Mariners organization. Mid way through the 2019 season, Canham returned to his Alma Mater Oregon State as a head coach for the program where he won back-to-back College World Series in 2006 & 2007. Mitch talks his move to college ranks and his 10 years of pro baseball across 5 different organizations. El trio de Cleveland, que actua al Primavera Sound 2011 a Barcelona, porta a terme des del 2006 una psicodèlia electrònica, influïda pel minimalisme, l'ambient i el kraut rock còsmic dels 70. A partir d'improvisacions fent servir gravacions de camp, de veus i de guitarres junt al so de sintetizadors han editat diversos cassets, vinils i CDs que repassem. Comencem per l'split "Christmas Tape 2006" compartit amb TUSCO TERROR, seguim amb el doble casset "Allegory Of Allergies" (2007) i amb "A Real Clean Gang" (2007), on hi escoltem en tots ells temes ambientals, que inclouen gravacions de guitarres, sorolls i atmòsferes psicodèliques de minimalisme repetitiu. Amb l'experimentador sonor AARON DILLOWAY van publicar l'split "Under Pressure" (2008) del que en sentim un extracte d'un tema, i continuem amb les exploracions electròniques del CD "Solar Bridge" (2008) i del casset "Planetarium" (2008). Afegim una de les improvisacions del CD "What Happened" (2009), el casset "The Overlook" (2009) i l'EP "Fresh Air" (2009). Dels seus destacats i més recents àlbums "Emeralds" (2009) i "Does It Look Like I'm Here?" (2010) n'escoltem nous desenvolupaments d'electrònica repetitiva profunda i densament psicodèlica.

ONEOHTRIX POINT NEVER és el projecte individual de DANIEL LOPATIN des de Brooklyn creat a mitjans dels 2000. En ell parteix dels sintetitzadors analògics dels anys 80, la psicodèlia còsmica i el minimalisme per configurar una experimentació sonora on hi conflueixen electrònica ambiental, sorolls i replantejaments de l'inconscient sonor pop dels 80. Iniciem programa amb el casset “Betrayed In The Octagon” (2007) i el vinil “Zones Without People” (2009) recollits en el destacat doble CD “Rifts” (2009). Escoltem també el casset “Hollyr” (2008) amb sons més inquietants, el Cdr “Young Beidnahga" (2009) amb minimalisme electrònic i “Memory Vague” (2009) recontextualitzant sons dels 80 extrets de videos de Youtube. De nou del CD “Rifts” s'inclouen temes del casset “Ruined Lives” (2008) i del vinil “Russian Mind” (2009). Dels projectes paral·lels de DANIEL LOPATIN sentim INFINITY WINDOW amb “Trans Fat” (2008) i GAMES des del single “Everything Is Working” (2010). Finalitzem amb el darrer àlbum d'ONEOHTRIX POINT NEVER, “Returnal” (2010), incloent dos temes on s'hi combinen perfectament sons arriscats i electrònica antiga. Un especial avui d'un nom clau de l'escena electrònica més recent!
