How do we listen from our heart instead of our mind? Many of the conversations that may end up seeming as if they’re in conflict stems from there not being an agreement to have a conversation to begin with. When we come from a place of genuine listening while still honoring our own feelings, it creates a heightened sense of cooperation.

Most of us have never been taught how to listen effectively. Because of the inner monologue we all have in our heads, we typically listen to respond rather than engage. To truly hear the person in front of you, it’s crucial to listen with your eyes as well as your ears and pay attention to their body language to reach a deeper connection.
