For today's Coffee Break, I beam down to Gallery 220 in Havre de Grace, MD, to have a coffee chat with Lexi Hauck. Lexi is a local creative, photographer, filmmaker, theater kid, and art administrator in my friend circle in Havre de Grace. I had Lexi watch one of my favorite movies from 2000, Erin Brockovich, starring Julia Roberts and we talked about Erin being such a Baltimore woman who has a John Waters vibe. We dish about the paranormal activities of Gallery 220 and The State Theater of Havre de Grace, Haven, John Waters, the magic of Baltimore, the new creative scene popping up in Havre de Grace, Street photography, filming the paparazzi scene of #RockStarLife: The Art Film, photography done on an iPhone vs an actual camera,  the ethics of mid 2000’s paparazzi, and so much more! Also, towards the end... I go into a rant about Erin Brockovich's connection to Erika Jayne from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Vanderpump Rules!! This was such a fun coffee break, and we dish out everything that makes Baltimore the best for young, punk creatives.

This week Zach and Sloane unwrap Season 12 Episodes 15 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The girls are floundering. Rinna is completely unhinged. Erika needs to locate some fucks and give them to us. Diana needs to decide why she's on the show (and it better not be for her baby husband's musical career.) And Dorit needs a spinoff where Phoenix becomes her life coach. This episode didn't bring much in the way of drama but it is gearing up for what looks like a promising trip to Aspen. So we shall wait. And we shall see. But for now, the season belongs to Queen Garcelle, perhaps the only one on this franchise who understands how to be a good housewife and give us drama, conflict, conflict resolution, and effortless beauty.
