S5, Ep 11: God Keeps His Promises

S5, Ep 11: God Keeps His Promises

You may have heard the phrase, “Promises were made to be broken,” but we are loved by a faithful God who never breaks His promises. In this episode, we’ll talk about some of the promises we see in the Bible and how because of God’s character we can stand firm, even when the world feels like it’s shifting under our feet. We’ll also learn that by being intentional about how we answer “yes” and “no” in our own lives, we can reflect God’s character into the world around us and point others to Him.

S5, Ep 10: Living As Ambassadors For Christ

S5, Ep 10: Living As Ambassadors For Christ

All this season, we’ve been discussing the Holy Spirit and its power to make us more like Jesus as we follow Him. And as we learn about the fruit the Holy Spirit produces in our lives, Colossians 3:12 gives us one insight into why those fruits are so very important. In this episode, we’ll talk about our identity as God’s children and the awesome role we are invited to as Christ’s ambassadors. We’ll also discuss how to give others and ourselves grace when we fall short, and how through the power of the Holy Spirit, our lives can be a sign and a foretaste of the Kingdom of God.

S5, Ep 9: Why Does Reading the Bible Matter?

S5, Ep 9: Why Does Reading the Bible Matter?

For a lot of us, reading the Bible can often feel like one more thing in a long list of things that we are “supposed to do as good Christians”. But spending time in God’s Word can be so much more than an item on a checklist. Because on every page, God’s unchanging and loving character is revealed. Through God’s Word, we can begin to see and experience His radical love for us as we learn His heart and see it in action.

In this episode, we’ll discuss how studying the Bible can give us a deeper understanding of what God is like, and help us to connect with Him personally, by looking at the life of Jesus.

We’ll give you some good places to start reading the Bible, as well as some practical Bible study resources, whether you’re diving into God’s Word for the first time, or trying to find your Bible study groove again.

From beginning to end, the Bible is the story of God’s loving pursuit of His people. It is our prayer that by the end of this episode, you’ll be inspired to curl up with your Bible, and journey deeper into your relationship with the God who loves you.

    S5, Ep 8: Living a Spirit-Led Life

    S5, Ep 8: Living a Spirit-Led Life

Last episode, we talked about how we not only need to invite God into what we are doing, but we also need to be aware that God might be inviting us into what He is doing.

In order to walk in step with God, we need to allow His Spirit who dwells within us to lead us, guide us, and transform us to be more like Him. In today's episode, we’ll talk about what life led by the Holy Spirit looks like (and what it doesn’t) and how to stay connected to God as our source of life.

If you’ve ever felt like being a Christian was a list of do’s and don’ts, this episode is for you. The Spirit-led life is one of joy and freedom. We can’t wait to share it with you.

S5, Ep 7: The Divine Invitation

S5, Ep 7: The Divine Invitation

In the last couple of episodes, we have talked about being actively aware of God’s presence throughout our day, directing our thoughts toward Him, and inviting Him into what we are doing by having an ongoing conversation with Him.

In today’s episode, we’ll discuss how to take the next step of listening for and leaning into God’s divine invitation to join Him in what He is doing. We’ll talk about how to discern where God is working, what our role might be, and how sometimes small steps of obedience can have a big Kingdom impact.

S5, Ep 6: Learning to Listen for God’s Voice

S5, Ep 6: Learning to Listen for God’s Voice

This season we’ve been talking about how to experience true revival in our everyday lives by understanding who God is, who we are in Him, and the kingdom of God that He is calling us to. In our last episode, we talked about how we can experience revival each and every day by learning to stay aware of God’s presence and inviting Him into everything we do.

In this episode, we’ll continue the conversation and talk about how we can practice recognizing God’s voice in our lives, begin to share our own thoughts and feelings with God as we go about our day, and learn to listen for and submit to the Holy Spirit's leading in our lives.

More about Patricia: Raised among the cypress trees and bayous of the Louisiana Delta, Patricia Cameron learned early on to cherish God and family. Losing her husband unexpectedly at 45 tested her faith, but also set in motion the desire to help others see that God is worthy of praise, even in times of grief. Her late husband’s zest for life inspired Patricia to live her own, fully aware of God’s presence, power and purpose — and to encourage others to do the same. It is her desire that others experiencing great loss will know they can survive any season of suffering. And not only survive but go on to become better and stronger as they press on to know God and discover His will for their lives.

S5, Ep3: Why Does Identity in Christ Matter?

S5, Ep3: Why Does Identity in Christ Matter?

Over the past couple of episodes, we have been talking lately about revival and what everyday Kingdom living looks like. Today, we wanted to take some time to tell you how Revive Ministries got started and why grounding our identity in Christ is so important to living Kingdom life and experiencing revival in our everyday lives.

So many women struggle with experiencing abundant life because we live in a world that makes it hard to see our own belovedness and value. It can be a struggle to know who we are and where we are going, let alone who God is. But when our identity is grounded in Christ, it changes everything!
