May 1st, 2023... 6.5 PRC, high wind class... Tranny Crap has reached Critical Mass~! Black Hills "Honey Badger"...
The Lehigh 380 "Defender" bullet is killer cool, as Cartman might say. :) Underwood and Blackhills are loading this thing, and if you or a loved one carries a 380 for self-defense, this is the load to use! Also, how does the 6.5 PRC do in high wind (exceptionally well, in fact)... we'll discuss the performance of the 153 grain Hornady ATIP at 1 mile... and can't we all agree? Hasn't the tranny crap gone WAY TOO FAR? We believe so, and more and more sane folks around the globe are in total agreement. We'll talk about these and other things on tonight's episode of The BangSteel Long Range Shooting Podcast. :)

April 18th, 2022 ... ELR (how far is too far?) Reticle ranging a farce? Inherently accurate cartridges?

April 18th, 2022 ... ELR (how far is too far?) Reticle ranging a farce? Inherently accurate cartridges?
We talk about why some cartridges seem "inherently accurate" while others are picky about load recipes (and even factory load recipes)... And, is reticle ranging useful for anything? Are there better ways to work? And with regard to Extreme Long Range shooting--how far is too far? We discuss these and other things in this week's episode. We hope you'll tune in. :)

August 31st, 2020... Kyle Rittenhouse... ELR ballistics... over-estimating the enemy... more...
We know that underestimating the enemy is never a good thing--but overestimating can be just as bad. We need to be realistic in our understanding of the capabilities of those who seek the destruction of America. We also talk about Extreme Long Range ballistic solutions and spotting targets at 1 mile and beyond. We hope you'll tune in. :)

June 1st, 2020... response to riots, militias, Warner Tool bullets, ELR targets and ranges... more

June 1st, 2020... response to riots, militias, Warner Tool bullets, ELR targets and ranges... more
Can the president dispatch the U.S. military to our own cities? What is the role of our militias in keeping peace in our communities? We also discuss some incredibly fast velocities from 198 grain Warner Tool bullets from the 300 PRC. And... shooting to beyond 2100 yards--what does it take? We hope you'll tune in. :)

May 25th, 2020 ... ELR targets in place! Bird sniping... 40X bench .22lr... proper load development... more...

May 25th, 2020 ... ELR targets in place! Bird sniping... 40X bench .22lr... proper load development... more...
We discuss the newly set Extreme Long Range targets at 1700 and 2165 yards (get the t-shirt)... sniping pest birds with the .22lr... proper load development for hand loaders... fake virus "pandemic" (the pandemic that wasn't)... and Little Lord Northam's hypocrisy on full parade on Saturday. We hope you'll tune in. :)

May 18th, 2020... ELR targets coming, shooting in rain, match results, LEO's stepping up!

May 18th, 2020... ELR targets coming, shooting in rain, match results, LEO's stepping up!
We're setting a 1700 yard steel target, and a 2165 yard steel target this Saturday. We'll be doing ELR classes and events this season. Also in this episode, we talk about shooting in the rain, and proper care of your gear after a day of rainy weather shooting. And... law enforcement officers are sticking to the Constitution, and not to their tyrannical governor's orders--more and more in America. We hope you'll tune in to this one. :)
