After leaving N.W.A., Cube teamed up with Public Enemy's production group The Bomb Squad, and fellow friend Sir Jinx, to make arguably the greatest debut hip-hop album ever. Dropped in 1990, Ice Cubes' story telling, hard chaotic beats, and gangsta yet conscious abilities put him on the map as a solo artist and proved he could stand on his own.
