Casey shares a brochure she’d written in 2020 designed to help each person “Overcome Challenges” they face.

     The brochure now resides within the Appendix of My Dear Rosa Jean. There, Casey presents five ingredients in a Recipe for Overcoming Challenges. In her book, these ingredients are explained in further detail: 

1.      Turn to God
2.      Safely leave your dangerous and habitually toxic environment
3.      Believe and have faith
4.      Be filled with gratitude
5.      Forgive yourself, your abuser, and the indifferent

If we live on earth, we face “The Unknown” daily. Our struggles may change overtime, but one thing remains constant; we have no control over the future (episode links below).

 Should you then live with fear, doubts, and worry? No. You can decide to turn to God, believing He provides mercy and grace through His Son, Jesus Christ. Accept Jesus, who paid it all. God has a good plan for you.

Maybe you have confidence that you will be courageous in any circumstance, but what if something scary suddenly happens? Will you be able to maintain your faith? We’re encouraged to “Fear Not.” 

 Here, I share a recent sudden encounter with a huge hawk with a big, menacing beak. Did I quake with fear? How did I handle it while afraid? More importantly, what did I learn for future dangerous situations?

Sword of the Spirit, “Rejoice Always.” We consider what the Apostle Paul says in Philippians 4, not only to rejoice in the Lord, but to be anxious for nothing. Can we maintain faith over fear in all circumstances? 

 Paul was in prison during much of his ministry, yet he came to contentment in every situation, knowing he was well equipped to do whatever the Lord called him to do. We can, like Paul, walk in faith, content and sure we have strength through Christ, when our focus is on the Lord.
