    The Father's Blessing

    The Father's Blessing

This week Pastor Travis shares a message with us called The Father's Blessing.
Here are some of the key scriptures : Be blessed as you listen & join us next time for more.

    Romans 12:2 (NLT)
2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

    Psalm 32:1-2 (NKJV)
    A Psalm of David. A [a]Contemplation.
32 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered. 2 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not [b]impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit.

    Psalm 32:5 (NKJV)
5 I acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I have not hidden.
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” And You forgave the iniquity of my sin.

    Numbers 6:22-26 (NKJV)
22 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 23 “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them:
24 “The Lord bless you and keep you; 25 The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you; 26 The Lord [a]lift up His countenance upon you,
    And give you peace.” ’

    Genesis 17:17-20 (NLT)
17 Then Abraham bowed down to the ground, but he laughed to himself in disbelief. “How could I become a father at the age of 100?” he thought. “And how can Sarah have a baby when she is ninety years old?” 18 So Abraham said to God, “May Ishmael live under your special blessing!” 19 But God replied, “No—Sarah, your wife, will give birth to a son for you. You will name him Isaac,[a] and I will confirm my covenant with him and his descendants as an everlasting covenant. 20 As for Ishmael, I will bless him also, just as you have asked. I will make him extremely fruitful and multiply his descendants. He will become the father of twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation.

Luke 15:17-24 (NKJV), Romans 8:31-33 (NLT)

    "Because He's Our Father" - Hebrews 12:7-11

    "Because He's Our Father" - Hebrews 12:7-11

Do you know that because He's our Father, God's discipline has eternal purposes greater than our earthly pains?

Divine Masculinity & Fatherhood - Where the World Gets it Wrong

Divine Masculinity & Fatherhood - Where the World Gets it Wrong

With Father’s Day here, how does the world define masculinity and fatherhood, and how does God define them? What are the differences and where does the world get it wrong? Also, we’ll be taking some of your questions at the end.

On this podcast, we are faith-affirming first. This means before anything else, we affirm and support the doctrine of Jesus Christ as found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

If you enjoyed this episode, please leave us a 5-star review.

JLO Has Us Wondering: Should You Change Your Name After Marriage?

JLO Has Us Wondering: Should You Change Your Name After Marriage?

On July 17 Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck finally got married, two decades after they first became engaged, but their incredible reunion has been somewhat overshadowed by JLo's decision to change her name to Mrs Jennifer Lynne Affleck.

Despite the happy occasion, the internet exploded with people complaining about her 'giving in to the patriarchy' and expressing disappointment at the very personal decision of a woman that most of us will never meet, but why do we care?

The Quicky speaks to an entertainment expert and a relationships guru to find out why the decision whether or not to change our name after marriage is still so contentious for women in 2022, and whether doing it really does mean you're not a feminist.

#48 - Head To Toe Denim

It's hot outside and I have a problem with that. Father's Day is almost here, but you have the option of leaving and moving to Russia. Last, hear about a man named Dee, who had a specific  retirement dream and wouldn't let anything stand in his way. Enjoy.

        95. What Do Sons (Daughters) Do While Waiting For The 2nd Coming Of Christ: Romans 8 And 12; Kimberly Moore; Sunday School

There is hope when we consider the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ. As Sons (Daughters), our hope is in knowing we are in Jesus in the here and now. There is much to do from now til the 2nd Advent. Our waiting should be active.

We long for more of Him in us today. That creation will see Christ reveal in us. That the world around us is changed by the heaven in us. We govern and give increase to creation the same liberties we have received. We are to remove any frustrations by participating with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to make earth look like heaven. Glory to God, He has chosen all of us to be predestined to be His Sons.
