    Chris Roy is a brilliant tech guy who wanted to connect rescues and shelters with people who are willing to foster pets or offer to transport them to other cities. He planned the software, designed it, and implemented it himself. Rescues can sign up at Doobert.com (named for his late cat, Doobert) to showcase the animals they have ready for adoption. You can search for dogs, cats, horses, wildlife and so many more types of pets that are searching for their loving fur-ever home.

    Not looking to adopt? You can sign up to foster or transport animals, too! Taking a trip? Put your start and end point of your route into Doobert, and they can hook you up with someone who needs to transport a pet along your route. Would you be willing to do transport only on Wednesdays within 100 miles? Sign up! Do you only want to foster seniors or animals with medical issues? You can choose your parameters and help! They also accept financial donations to keep this service going!

    As Doobert is a non-profit organization. Chris works hard in tech to support Doobert, so he can help animals and rescues everywhere. We give this guy two paws up!

    We all know Margaret Cho as a talented actress and brilliant comedian. She also sings, designs clothes, and writes books! She is one busy lady! But, did you know that Margaret is also an animal lover? After many years of rescuing dogs, she added some kitties to her home! She now has three beautiful kitties in her family, and of course, her sweet dog, Lucia!

    Rita and Linda were thrilled with the opportunity to chat with Margaret about her life with her beloved pets: Uju the Wolf Cat, her two Sphynx cats Sacre and Sarong, and her Chihuahua, Lucia. She even showed us around her home, which is replete with many special places for her kitties, like the workout room and the food buffet!

    Margaret may be a big star, but she's the one caring for her kitties, scooping their boxes and trying to clip those kitty nails! We all know that struggle! We enjoyed learning about Margaret the animal lover, and we know you will, too!
