The Return

Tucker der Kicker-Goat

Der Wahnsinn in der NFL geht in eine neue Runde. Dieses Mal knöpfen wir uns die AFC North vor und schauen auf die Paarungen der Woche. Mit dabei natürlich das unglaubliche Finish bei der Partie der Detroit Lions gegen die Baltimore Ravens, mit "Kicker-Goat" Justin Tucker. Dieser stellt nämlich einen unfassbaren neuen Field Goal Rekord in der NFL auf. Außerdem im Fokus die starken Auftritte der Bengals und die wachsenden Sorgen um "Big Ben" Roethlisberger bei den Steelers. In der NBA heißt es heute "Warriors Overload". Alles rund um die Golden State Warriors gibt es hier im Angebot. In der NHL wird ein Blick auf die heißesten Trades des Sommers geworfen. Zum Abschluss kommen alle Freunde der MLB mit einem umfassenden Blick auf die Tabellensituationen in den einzelnen Divisionen kurz vor den Playoffs auf ihre Kosten. Viel Spaß!

Boundless Space: The Sotheby’s Experiment

Sotheby’s is exhibiting and auctioning the work of 180 artists from around the world inspired by Burning Man culture. More than a third are women, and more than a third are people of color. Sculptures, paintings and photographs, as well as experiences, mutant vehicles, and NFTs.

It’s a collaboration and a collision. It’s an experiment with an institution historically known for overt commodification. It’s an appreciation of art based on intrinsic aesthetic value. It's a nod to artists.

Stuart talks with Kim Cook, Director of Creative Initiatives for Burning Man Project, the bold lead on this partnership for advancing a values-based culture, and embracing the beastly art marketplace while being pro-artist, anti-racist, and taking not taking ourselves too seriously seriously.
