Raul Martinez works for Fieldcraft Survival as the Training Director and head combatives coach. Raul spent time in Iraq serving in the US Army after growing up in the South Side of Chicago. He eventually returned to Chi-town and became a police officer. During his time in Chicago PD, Raul worked undercover in narcotics as well as an instructor at their Academy.

Raul recently took a class with my friend, Tim Herron, who is a grandmaster shooter in USPSA. We talk about that experience, Raul’s time in the military and what it’s like to run on the mean streets of the city.

Mike Glover spent 18 years in the US Army and as a government contractor for OGA. He served as a SGM in Special Forces in various positions and deployed multiple times to combat theaters. He is an expert in Counter-Terrorism, security, and crisis management operations and is the host of the Fieldcraft Survival Podcast on iTunes, and Soundcloud. He is an avid outdoorsman, overland and traveler, and hunter. He has a bachelor's degree in Homeland Security and resides in Prescott, AZ where he is the CEO of Fieldcraft Survival.
