The Fiery Furnace - Don't bow down!

The Fiery Furnace - Don't bow down!

What would you do if someone said you couldn't worship God?  Would you stand or kneel? Today is going to get hot! So grab your graham crackers, chocolate and marshmallows and get ready for some fire. Today's story in the Bible is about the three friends standing for what is right.

Every parent wants their child to have fun, learn, and grow more in the Bible. However, time is limited. Have you ever asked: “What can I do to grow my child’s faith?” “How can I connect with my child?” “What about the difficult topics of stress, loss, and anxiety?” This podcast connects laughter and the Bible. It provides starter questions at the end of every episode, a soft opening to begin those discussions. It resources parents ways to connect with their children where they are.

An interactive retelling of the greatest stories in the Bible.  Take a journey with your kids and benefit from the parenting next steps after each show. These are "Short" stories to be used anywhere; in the car, dinner table, bedtime or wherever you want, with me Israel "Schertz."

    The Fiery Trial

    The Fiery Trial

When you are going through trials do you know how things will turn out? Do you even want to know how things will turn out? While we may not know all the details on how things will unfold, we can be confident that as long as the Lord is the captain of our ship we will be alright! Job knew this very thing, as we together will soon find out!

    Daniel 3:19-30 - Flame-Changer

    Daniel 3:19-30 - Flame-Changer

    Daniel 3, v. 19-30 - October 20th, 2019
Does it strike you that God didn’t keep Shadrach, Meshach, or Abed-nego from going into the fiery furnace? There is no guarantee of God’s deliverance from earthly troubles! Fire, in some form or another, awaits us all (1 Pet. 4:12) – but to what effect? The flame can destroy, and often it will… but it can also refine. For God’s people – those who by faith, trust in (cling to) Jesus Christ – we have a greater promise than the evading of suffering: we have the presence of God through suffering. And that is a flame-changer.
