Songwriting:  In this episode Joe analyzes the song "BILLIE BOSSA NOVA" by Billie (Eilish) O'Connell and Finneas O'Connell. This composition is a model of  perfection in how to construct a work of art.   The techniques employed offer composers, in all genres of music, a model to emulate in their works. The use of repetition and repetition with variation of melody, harmony and rhythm is textbook, along with the use of dance as inspiration, sectioning through orchestration and vocal range, shifting tonal colors and ostinato patterns as well was a study in planning and execution.

In this Episode Joe analyzes the new James Bond theme, "No Time To Die", by Billie (Eilish) O'Connell  and Finneas O'Connell - a masterwork of planning and construction. Sections rise and fall in a wave motion of tension and calm through shadings of dark and light dynamics, harmonics and melodic construction.

In this episode, Becky & Paul discuss the album "WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?" by Billie Eilish, and talk about the young star's rise to fame and writing style.
