    174. How Rich Fit Pros Think

Subject: How Rich Fit Pros Think

Nothing will change financially or otherwise without changing your thoughts.

Our actions will always be in line with our thoughts.

For example, if I believe I have a “sweet tooth,” what do you think I’ll do when someone offers me a random cupcake?

However, if I see myself as someone who doesn’t eat random cupcakes, it’ll be a different story.

Most people have many thoughts and beliefs about money that are unhelpful at best.

Today, I dive into 10 of them.

I’d be honored if you’ll listen and let me know which one resonates the most.

By shifting thoughts, beliefs, and identity, what held you back before goes away and a whole new world opens up. A world of opportunity and growth.

    Welcome to Well Designed

    Welcome to Well Designed

In this podcast episode, hosts Brandi Healy and Kyle Wood discuss their backgrounds, their experiences with burnout, and their journeys with human design. They also express their desire to help others find alignment and success by being their unique selves and using human design as a tool. The hosts plan to bring on guests to talk about how they embody their design in their businesses and how it shows up differently for each of them.

Kyle and Brandi talk about the importance of creating unique businesses that reflect the individuality of the owner, rather than following a prescribed formula. They also mention the shift in the online space from leaders who invite experimentation and reflection to experts who tell people what to do without accounting for individual differences. The hosts hope to empower listeners to find success on their own terms and feel good about their businesses and personal lives.

Brandi and Kyle also share a reading Kyle did on Kelly Slater, a professional surfer and entrepreneur, who is a manifesting generator with a 4/6 profile. They plan to dive deeper into their own designs in future episodes and explore how their designs operate in partnership with each other.

    Key Points:

    • Brandi Healy and Kyle Wood discuss their entrepreneurial journeys and how they integrate human design into their businesses and personal lives.
    • Human design helps people find alignment and success by tapping into their unique selves.
    • The podcast aims to help listeners become full-blown versions of themselves and find their own success.
    • Future episodes will feature guests discussing how they embody their human design in their businesses.
    • Kyle Wood discusses Kelly Slater's human design and how it played a role in his surfing career.

    170. 3 Simple Steps For Fit Pros to Become Rich

    170. 3 Simple Steps For Fit Pros to Become Rich

Two weeks ago I shared 3 ways for personal training gyms to increase their revenue.

Today, we are taking it a step further and discussing 3 steps (simple) for fit pros to get rich.

You may not like the word rich. Different people have different hang ups around certain words. That’s fine. You can call it wealth, abundance, or whatever you want.

Here is a quick overview of the 3 primary steps for personal trainers (or anyone) to get rich.

    1.    Live on less than you make - This may not be what you want to hear but you will never be rich if you spend everything you make.

    2.    Increase Your Income - Your ability to earn more income is one of your greatest predictors of wealth.

    3.    Invest and be Patient - Building wealth takes time. There are no shortcuts and you must take the stairs.

Today’s episode is all about the details of the 3 simple steps.

Getting rich, like getting fit, is actually pretty easy. It’s also really easy not to do.

Tune in to learn 3 ways to ensure that you get rich over time.

    163. The 5 Numbers Every Fit Pro Needs to Track

    163. The 5 Numbers Every Fit Pro Needs to Track

We often overcomplicate things, try to track everything, and end up either tracking nothing or not changing anything as a result of what we're tracking.

The best way to move forward is with a simple step.

    This episode is that step.

The "5 Numbers Every Fit Pro Needs to Track" will break down each number you need to track, what it means, how to track, and how often to measure it.

I also have a really cool 1 pager with all of the bullets you need to know.

Download it here and hang it by your desk!

EP 80 - Jonathon Lautermil: Designing Your Life for Success

EP 80 - Jonathon Lautermil: Designing Your Life for Success

When life gives you a community with a limited mindset, you take it in your hands and crush it. Being an entrepreneur takes long nights and grit. Not everyone makes it to their vision- except for the people who stay hungry. Jonathan is an example of someone who has retaliated against the social standard and put his effort in full force.

Jonathan Lautermilch is a newly made Father, Husband, in his professional life Jonathan is the Co-Founder and Co-Owner of Fit Pro Collective, and he is also the Owner and Founder of Smart Shark. As an Elite Business Consultant, Jonathan always provides his clients with what they need by giving them a smile along the way.

Raised in a household where success was based on the degree you’ve obtained or the salary you make, Jonathan broke those barriers as he entered into Entrepreneurship. Jonathan discusses his upbringing and how he built his business to help other people. Jeff and Jonathan both speak about what mindset is and what we can do to control it for ourselves, starting by ignoring what it is doing to other people.

    What You’ll Learn:

    • Knowing when to start competing for yourself and not others
    • The reason Jonathan became addicted to winning
    • Understanding that there is plenty of room at the top
    • Where Jonathan found his place as an entrepreneur
    • The process of becoming a CEO
    • Changing your mindset to focus on the 2 important things that you need to be driven by
    • How Jonathan and his wife bonded by working together
    • Jonathan’s bitter experience working in the corporate setting

    Favorite Quote:

“The more that I focus on being better today than I was yesterday and overcoming myself and not focusing on overcoming where other people are at, the more it’s really allowed me to flourish and grow and build my life. But what I call by design and not by default.”

    How To Get Involved:

Addicted to Winning connects listeners through stories that prove why mindset matters. Jeff Brekken was working a 60-hour week on his family’s farm by the time he was 10. When he wasn’t helping with the harvest, he was at the hockey rink. Jeff’s early life experiences taught him he needs to be either all-in or all-out.

In 2000 he started a single-family home construction business and by 2008 he was looking for the next big thing. Jeff founded the Blue SKy Benefit Solutions & Rise Above HR/ Recruiting on top of a lifelong passion for helping people. Through this show, Jeff will take that passion one step further.

    144. How Long Does it Take to Become Wealthy?

Jon Rohn said, “Become a Millionaire, not for the money but for the person you become.”

I can attest to the fact that I am a better person now that I’ve implemented certain character traits, behaviors, and habits with my money.

Not always, but generally, a financially successful person who is confident, generous, and hard working is going to have a better marriage than someone who is drowning in debt because they are buying things they can’t afford with money they don’t have to impress people they don’t like.

I was recently talking with an uber successful fitness entrepreneur who told his mastermind they’d be better off learning and implementing the skills and behaviors to become a decamillionaire (10 mil net worth) over 10 years than being handed 10 million dollars.

    In today’s show we explore:

    • How long it takes to become a millionaire
    • The factors determining the length of time it takes
    • Why it’s important not to rush past the in between part
