Missouri's Task Force One is in Florida for Hurricane Idalia. Yesterday, KMOX talked with Boone County Assistant Fire Chief Gale Blomenkamp before they left. You heard some excerpts during our newscasts, but here's the full interview from Wednesday, telling about what the Task Force is facing. Hurricane Idalia made landfall this morning, and is a tropical storm in Georgia at this time, but the water search and rescue is just now getting underway.
