Episode 186: Mark 3:7-19, 6:30-32 "Reason Behind it All"
The events before the Sermon on the Mount unfold here in this text. The ministry of Jesus Christ emerges from 30 years of obscurity then moves to massive popularity all the while creating more and more opposition. There is a whole lot of doing that needs to be done here in this moment of glorious chaos. But first, Jesus wants us, you, to be with Him. He calls to Himself those who He wants. This should radically transform our Christian walk because this is our value and identity. Keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus. This is our goal.  Life changing inspirational truths are referenced and located in this week’s Study Guide. Accept today God’s free gift of salvation. Call upon the name of the Lord and be saved. Seek Him while He can still be found. His evidence is all around us. How is your heart? If you have questions, need someone to talk to or would just like to say hi, contact us. Episode 181: 1 Peter 3:8-17 "To Do List"

Episode 181: 1 Peter 3:8-17 "To Do List"
When we value what is inside the box we will treat the box itself with greater care. We have been created in the image of God. Genesis 1:27   You, we and everyone around us, is made in His image. Our To Do List Is: Be in harmony with other Christians around you Have compassion for one another Have love for one another Be tender hearted Be courteous, respectful and kind Be more like Jesus Refrain your tongue from speaking evil. Proverbs 18:21 Seek peace and pursue it Do not be afraid Sanctify the Lord God in your heart Spiritual discernment reveals that these are days of deception. Do not let your love grow cold. Matthew 24:9-12    If we respond to evil with evil then we have created more evil. Break the chain and do the opposite. That is what Jesus did. Let us now set apart our hearts for our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ. He is our living hope in this season.  Life changing inspirational truths are referenced and located in this week’s Study Guide. Accept today God’s free gift of salvation. Like Father, Like Son

    Like Father, Like Son

    Hello there,

Consider this: a father is going on a trip and leaves his son in charge of his farm. The hired hands really love the father but do not fancy the son too much. So, they decide to do no work until the father comes back. The son appeals vehemently but the hired hands are also vehement in their refusal to work. When the father comes back, everything is well. When the father looks at the people working, he realizes that they are all freshly hired hands. When he enquires why, the son says, "These that you left refused to listen to me because they could only listen to you. So, I went out and hired other hands. And these have listened to me, doing all I have said, waiting to meet you." The son asks, "Father, who is loyal? These that have listened or they that have not?" The father looks at him and then looks at both groups of hired hands. His eyes dwell on the freshly hired hands, and he smiles.

Today, we study why Jesus is like the Father.

Believing in Christ doesn't get any better exposition than this. Words cannot expound the depth and breadth of the conversation between Jesus and Nicodemus. Yet, it is simple enough that children can cling to and cherish the most popular, memorable, and impactful verse in all of Scripture. It is the heart of God's purpose in doing everything He has ever done. We peek into God's own heart. ❤️
