On this episode of Not Invisible: Native Peoples on the Frontlines, Host LeAndra Nephin chats with actor, Marcus LaVoi. They discuss his role as Big Frank Yazzie on the Netflix show 'Chambers', his latest role as Nathan Goodleaf, in the ABC show 'For Life, his journey as an actor and the need for more Native representation both on and off screen.

Actors, writers, and directors Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen, who are also a married couple, are experts creating documentary theater. They have written The Exonerated, about death row exonerees. Aftermath, about people who were exiled by the American invasion of Iraq, Coal Country about the Upper Big Branch Mine disaster and THE LINE  their live-streamed play, bringing first-person stories of New York City's first responders during the COVID-19 pandemic to the digital stage. Jessica is also an accomplished author, consultant and public speaker on story and social change. Erik has had over a hundred roles on television, film, and stage, most notably as legendary Thurman Munson of the New York Yankees in the miniseries The Bronx Is Burning and most recently can be seen in the television show For Life. 

In this episode, we chat with 'For Life' star Dorian Missick about his break into acting which led him to incredible opportunities to work with Denzel Washington, Sandra Bullock, and 50 Cent.

We dive into some sports banter and chat about the dreaded NY Knicks and how miserable it is to be a lifelong fan of the franchise and in lieu of 'The Last Dance,' Dorian gives us his take on who the GOAT is between Lebron and MJ.
