Almost Got 'Im: A Batman The Animated Series Podcast Episode 35: Beware The Gray Ghost

Don't shed any further tears, ol chums. It's been months of nothing, dear listeners, but we're finally back for another episode of....Almost Got 'Im! Hell, you can leave the crying to Brandon and Jimmy, as they both get choked up multiple times talking about the legacy of Adam West and the colossal meta narrative of "Beware The Gray Ghost," one of the best episodes of BTAS.

We also recorded some special supplemental material (with a special guest) for this episode that should premiere next week. Stay Tooned.

The first of our Two Patreon Episode requests this month; and for this one, we'll be joined by an Actual Patron as a Special Guest Co-Host. As Neil Weinstein joins us for a look at one of FOX's earliest sitcoms, one that takes a look at the Lighter Side of Solitary Confinement (and if YOU ever want us to review a show by Request or become a guest co-host, you can Only do it through our Patreon, Space is Limited).

EPISODE 81 - The Grubbs (2002 Unaired Series)

In the past, we've covered failed pilots of TV shows. But what if the show in question  actually got picked up by the network, produced Several episodes AND was ready to broadcast...only for the plug to be pulled at the last possible second? 2002's "The Grubbs" was one of those shows, and we're going to try to figure out why the axe fell prematurely.

    EPISODE 80 - Rachel Gunn R.N. (1992)

How can a show with a Broadway legend, Nick Offerman's (then) future wife AND Friggin' BATMAN still manage to fail? It probably didn't help that another network produced it, but then pawned it off on a network that was still trying to find itself at the time.

FOX Failure February - An Introduction

For this month's prologue, We feel that we've been on for a long enough time that we can go through our own archives to present to you a ruidmentary history of what we've mentioned about the FOX Network so far...partly because we won't be doing anything "Historical" in our next two shows, we just want to get it out of the way.

Also, listen to Weird Darkness wherever you stream podcasts, and if YOU Have a Podcast and you want to do a Promo Swap, contact us at TelehellPodcast@gmail.com (Space is Limited)

3rd ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL - Nick Fury (1998 TV Movie)

Today marks 3 years since we began this stupid little journey of ours through the worst that TV has ever offered. To mark the occasion, we're going to do a series of Summer Specials this month, starting with the Telehell Premiere of an Episode of "The Marvelists" that I made for them (In other words, it's an episode of THEIR show, I just "Guest Directed"); where the Three of us take a look at David Hasselhoff ham it up for the sake of a comic book TV movie.

Our thanks once again to Peter Melnick & Eddie Wilson for letting us infiltrate their world.
