Join Amanda and Michaela while Michaela leads you through the life and murders of Dr. Death. We apologize now as Michaela has just recovered from pneumonia and is coughing, also her brain didn't want to work haha So we hope the struggle made this episode light.
Shipman was a doctor in the UK, and worked mainly with elderly patients. There is still no clue as to why he did what he did, however Amanda and Michaela discuss their theories on what they think. In the end officials believe Shipman has had about 250 victims.

    Episode 2 Darrel Keith Rich

    Episode 2 Darrel Keith Rich

Happy Holidays from Beauty and Crime with a second episode!

Darrell Keith Rich terrorized Shasta County, in Northern California, over a 2-3 month period in the summer of 1978. He began his predatory ways by sexually assaulting a number of women and girls. But, very quickly he began murdering, using the very same M.O. that he used previously.

In Amanda's episode she talks about the life and crimes of Darrell Keith Rich. This a guy who committed his spree of crimes in his early twenties. But, thankfully, he was caught very quickly, mainly because he chose to go around town telling people what he had been doing, mind you in a very small town.

Episode 1 Ken and Barbie Killer

Episode 1 Ken and Barbie Killer

This is a case horrific and unjust to say the least. Canadians will know it well. Karla Homolka and Paul Bernardo AKA "The Scarborough Rapist" as they terrorized and murdered young women in Ontario during the late 80s/early 90s, including Karla's own younger sister, until they were finally stopped and locked up, at least one was..  Things are definitely going to get uncomfortable and disturbing during this podcast, so listeners please beware. We do our best to give plenty of warning when things are going to get brutal so you have the option to skip ahead.
