E536 The LAPD Response To Gabbie Hanna & How Welfare Checks Actually Work
The recent abnormal behavior of content creator Gabbie Hanna has caused her fans a lot of concern. While posting over 100 TikTok videos in 24 hours is out of the normal for this social media guru, it was the content that she posted that caused her fans to flood LAPD’s dispatch with concerns for her wellbeing.
While there has been a wide-range of topics discussed in these videos, followers have stated that the concern with the videos were the ones that included racial comments and claims where Gabbie stated that she thought herself to be the second coming.
One fan went so far as to show up at her house and pose as a stranger asking to use the bathroom, putting the social media star’s home and license plate on full display.
I want to make one thing clear that we should all be able to agree on…If someone is going through a mental health crisis, it should never be for someone’s entertainment.
There are some followers who have criticized the response that LAPD has provided as a result to the countless calls that they have received.
