Pour ce troisième numéro, nous avons l'immense plaisir d'accueillir Geoff Johns dans le podcast ! Auteur illustre du DC Comics des années 2000 et 2010, Johns s'est imposé comme un architecte de l'univers DC en bâtissant des runs cultes sur la JSA, Green Lantern ou The Flash, tout en enchaînant les events tels que Infinite Crisis ou Flashpoint. On lui doit d'ailleurs avec cet event le point de départ du reboot des New 52 de 2011, mais aussi le relaunch DC Rebirth de 2016 qui a mêlé, entre autres, l'univers DC à celui de Watchmen. Aujourd'hui, après une période passée du côté des films et des séries, Johns revient à l'écriture, avec Flashpoint Beyond et une nouvelle série JSA pour DC. Il a aussi créé son univers en creator-owned du côté de Image Comics avec Gary Frank et les séries Geiger et Junkyard Joe. Episode #428! This week's focus is Cool Stuff! First up, we talk about seeing Kurt Russell at The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. Mr. Russell was in town to be inducted into "The Cowboy Hall Of Fame" as a western performer. During the Q&A he talked a little about his start in acting and the western movies he's been involved with. After that, Scott talks about the comic Flashpoint Unwrapped by Geoff Johns and Andy Kubert. DL brings Julie Doucet's autobiographical account of living in NYC to the podcast. My New York Diary tells her story as a young woman struggling to create art with a very challenging environment and circumstances. Check it out!

Il y a près d'un an, alors que le final du Watchmen d'HBO allait être diffusé, DC Comics sortait le douzième et dernier numéro de Doomsday Clock, suite alternative à Watchmen et à son DC Universe Rebirth #1. Après plus de deux ans de publication dans la douleurs, Geoff Johns et Gary Frank livraient ainsi leur interprétation finale sur le Dr Manhattan et son lien à l'univers DC.
En cette fin 2020, Urban Comics publie enfin la mini-série dans son intégralité en librairie, et c'est l'occasion pour Manude revenir sur ce comics événement au résultat plus que mitigé. Pour l'occasion, After Watchmen accueille First Print avec la présence d'ArnoKikoo et Corentin, pour jeter du sel sur le feu.
En fin de podcast, on revient également brièvement sur le premier numéro en VO de la toute nouvelle série Rorschach par Tom King et Jorge Fornés, faisant officiellement suite à l'univers développé par Damon Lindelof pour HBO.
