There is a lot that goes into a Miners Recognizing real opportunities and not just in equipment. 
Looking at the ground with fresh eyes offers great opportunities that may be missed if a Prospector puts on the blinders and stays hype focused on only that ground in front of him. 
A Prospector looking for a spot to become a Miner starts with visual prospecting.   

We all have a comfort zone, how we pan, sluice, or detect. It's time to think about the comfort zone and if it has become your rut and how to keep it from hindering your gold recovery. Expand the possibilities with practical ideas to keep you moving forward.

Fluid Dynamics may sound a bit complicated (which it was on his side) but on your side, the end result is that you will recover more gold with any sluice, highbanker or dredge by following one extremely simple "four word" formula.

Chris clearly states that you do not have to be a Mining Engineer or a Geologist to get on the gold that others miss. You just have to, Know somethings, be imaginative, creative and willing to put in the time. Oh and Lucky.
Chris's book "Fist Full Of Gold" is a must have for every level of prospector. In my opinion, I consider Fist Full Of Gold the "Best of the Best" and something you will refer to for years to come.
