 The Lord is my Shepherd, Psalm 23, is a favorite and there are several books and commentaries on it. This is where we find a relationship with the Lord as our Good Shepherd and we are His Sheep. We depend upon Him, a loving and good God who is merciful. 
In Psalm 24, we find the Lord as our King of Glory.
