147 - The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence) (2011) Review

147 - The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence) (2011) Review

In the 3rd week of Fucked Up February 2023, we review The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence which is the sequel to the popular disturbing film, The Human Centipede (First Sequence). In this absolute bloodfest of a movie, The Human Centipede superfan, Martin, draws inspiration from the movie to create a 12-person centipede.

After watching this movie, we quickly realize just how wonderful the first movie was and it really wasn't all that great; this film is just that nonsensical. However, it is bloody, it is gory, and if that's what you're into, give it a watch.

    146 - Deadgirl (2008) Review

    146 - Deadgirl (2008) Review

Deep within an abandoned mental institution, two highschoolers find a woman who can't die. Deadgirl is in Fucked Up February for a reason as this movie features some very difficult content to watch and discuss. While the characters can be ridiculous at times, the movie does present a very dark scenario, making the movie very entertaining. Watch the movie and catch the review.

Final Friday: Playing with Dolls: Bloodlust (2016)

Final Friday: Playing with Dolls: Bloodlust (2016)

In Playing with Dolls: Bloodlust, actors join a reality tv show where the set is their own grave. They win by surviving the slasher, but little do they know, the killer is very real.

Playing with Dolls: Bloodlust is the sequel to Metalface or Playing with Dolls which is a film we reviewed early on. While the movie had some unbelievably tough moments to watch, it was entertaining and the sequel lines up the same way. It's not a horrible watch, but not the movie you go back too with the boys.

    137 - Mrs. Claus (2018) Review

    137 - Mrs. Claus (2018) Review

Shane refers to Mrs. Claus as the coldest 2 of any movie he's reviewed so far on The Final Podcast. In a movie titled, Mrs. Claus, the wife of jolly ole' Saint Nick has hardly anything to do with the movie at all. 10 years after a murder suicide, a group of college students partying at a sorority house are haunted by a killer dressed as Mrs. Claus.

If you are doing nothing, and we mean absolutely nothing this holiday season, give this movie a watch and catch our review. You may like it, you may hate it, you may be wasting your time, but you will laugh.

    136 - Better Watch Out (2016) Review

    136 - Better Watch Out (2016) Review

Deck the halls, the Christmas season is here! There has been a rise in Christmas horror movies over the past few years and we wanted to start the season off with a movie that has been talked about a lot lately. In Better Watch Out, a babysitter and a 12-year old protect themselves during what appears to be a home invasion, but is something else entirely.

Final Friday: A Christmas Horror Story (2015)

Final Friday: A Christmas Horror Story (2015)

The Christmas season is upon us and we need to get into the Christmas spirit by reviewing a movie that we have called "the Christmas version of Trick 'r' Treat." A Christmas Horror Story comprises interrelated stories on Christmas Eve brought to life by William Shatner's radio voice. A family will regret trespassing to bring home a Christmas tree, students film a documentary in a haunted school, Krampus comes for a wicked family, and Santa fights against zombie elves in this crazy ride.

    They/Them with Cory McCullough

    They/Them with Cory McCullough

Jordan and Brooke are joined by horror writer Cory McCullough (The Scream Teens) to discuss 2022's *debatable* slasher flick. We wonder why writer/director John Logan is so reticent to just let the gay characters get their revenge, discuss the Blumhouse influence, trauma bond over film school trauma, envision what a proper slasher set at conversion camp might look like, and promote another case to #FreeTheBacon.

    Episode 167-Mid-Term Elections and Halloween

    Episode 167-Mid-Term Elections and Halloween

In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable podcast we continue the discussion about the importance of the midterm elections coming up, and discuss how Christians should handle Halloween.  What, if any, is the danger in 3rd party voting?  What about Christians who don't vote?  What is at stake in this election?  Should Christians "celebrate" Halloween?  Is it okay for their kids to Trick or Treat?  And what about the gory home decorations that are becoming commonplace now--are they okay and how does that affect children and sensitive adults?

Episodes 193: Midnight Movie Madness: 'Deadstream' (2022)/'Project Wolf Hunting' (2022)

Episodes 193: Midnight Movie Madness: 'Deadstream' (2022)/'Project Wolf Hunting' (2022)

We start the show with talk of the Naked Gun movies and Police Squad. Leslie Nielsen made the role of Frank Drebin his own. Liam Neeson is a great actor, but can he step into the shoes of the iconic character? And what does any of this have to do with The Simpsons?

Blake and Regina had a great idea few weeks ago to talk about upcoming genre movies. It is was a great idea and, frankly, is something we should have been doing for a long time. So, this week we are debuting a new segment on the show. This week we talk about Genre of the Future! For our first installment, we talk the Brooklyn Horror Film Festival, whether Halloween will truly end, and the greatest horror movie moments.

For the first time ever, we have a repeat review on our show. The last time we did Deadstream, Blake was not able to join us. Since the show recently debuted on Shudder, we figured this would be a great time to rectify that. We talk about having love for your craft, the importance of simplicity and horror, and uncharismatic influencers.

It is not often that a movie leaves us speechless. We may be baffled, confused, or frustrated, but we always have something to say. And then we watched Project Wolf Hunting. The South Korean movie is about a group of dangerous criminals being transported on a giant cargo ship. Naturally, they escape.

It sounds like Korean Con Air on a boat, and it is for a while. It soon becomes something so different that we had no idea what to think about. What we were both sure of is that it is easily one of the goriest movies in recent memory. We talk about when enough is too much, try to figure out what the film is going for, and try to decide if the body count is closer to 50 or 60 people dead.
