2 1/2 years later, we have concluded our walk through of the Gospel of Mark. verse 9-20 are clouded with controversy but the offer us a great truth "That our God will enable the followers of Christ to fulfill his purposes in their lives through his redemption! "

So what happened to Peter on the night that he denied Jesus 3 times? How much zealously do you have for Jesus.The word zealously comes from the word zeal. Which means to be filled with or inspired by intense enthusiasm or zeal; ardent; ferventBasically to be pumped up for Jesus. To many time we will experience Jesus in our lives then loose this zeal, allowing it to fade away. Today we'll look at how we can keep that zealously for Jesus.

We start 2015 with Mark chapter 7. What does Jesus have to say about our traditions? Lets's start the year off by taking a serious look at our hearts and how we live. Do we live by traditions or do we live by commandments.

In the feeding of the 5,000 we see how Jesus was teaching his disciples how to serve. Serve with compassion, Serve with no excuses, and Serve with Jesus providing everything for them. This is how we should serve.

Whenever we feel a moment of conviction, where God is teaching us something, we must act. We can’t refuse God’s grace in that moment, because there’s no guarantee it will come again before its to late.Here in Mark 6, We'll read a story about King Herod who ultimately thought he had more time to obey what God was telling him through John the Baptist.

What does living for the mission of Jesus look like day to day in our lives?As we continue our walk through the Gospel of Mark we'll see in Mark 6 what is expected when we decide to follow in on the Mission of Jesus.

Chances are your in the percentage of people who have a family member who has little to no knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For many of us we may feel uncomfortable or even afraid to share the gospel with our families. The truth is, sharing the gospel is easy! We'll look at 3 ways to effectively share the Gospel with family, friends and others as we start chapter 6 in our Gospel of Mark sermon series.
