In der Spitäler über die teuersten und modernsten Geräte verfügen, immer genügend Platz bieten und die Wartezeiten gering sind? In der die Mediziner:innen zu den besten Freund:innen ihrer Patient:innen werden und vielleicht sogar enge Beziehungen mit ihnen eingehen? Möglich, dass all das passiert, aber dann befinden wir uns mit ziemlicher Sicherheit in einer Arztserie.

Um herauszufinden, wie glaubwürdig solche Klischees sind, haben July und Franco diesmal eine Ärztin eingeladen, die anonym bleiben möchte, damit sie unbeschwert losplaudern und ins Detail gehen kann. Für euch werden wir nochmal richtig nostalgisch! Ihr wolltet es so: July und Franco stellen zum zweiten Mal die große Frage: "Was wurde aus…?".  In den 1990er und 2000er Jahren waren sie große Serienstars, doch eigentlich wurden ihre Namen nur mit ganz bestimmten Rollen in Verbindung gebracht. Danach sind viele dieser Schauspieler:innen plötzlich von unserem Radar verschwunden und kaum jemand weiß, was aus ihnen geworden ist - beruflich und privat.

Genau das versuchen July und Franco zu klären, indem sie wieder zwei ihrer Lieblingsserien aus dem genannten Zeitraum ausgewählt haben: "Friends" und "Akte X".

Jennifer Aniston hat es natürlich geschafft und eine Weltkarriere gestartet, doch wie sieht es zum Beispiel mit Serien-Kollegen David Schwimmer aus? Auf welchen traurigen Rekord hat es der unter Suchtproblemen leidende Matthew Perry gebracht? Welche Darstellerin ist dem Schönheitswahn verfallen? Today is the episode you’ve all been waiting for – ADHD! Our guest, Rach Idowu was diagnosed with ADHD Combined Type on January 2020 at the age of 26. Shortly after her diagnosis, she decided to start her AdultingADHD substack newsletter to document her own personal experience. Rach has been featured in the NYTimes, BBC, Stylist, and Mashable among others. She has also created flashcards to help adults with ADHD learn more about ADHD traits including coping strategies.

We discussed the long road to Rach’s ADHD diagnosis and what it meant for her, the impact of ADHD stigmas on getting the help you need, and what kind of accommodations you can ask for in the workplace. Hi! My name is Terry J. Aman and this installment marks my 87th episode of VideoFuzzy, reporting the progress I've made in cataloging more than 3,000 VHS transfers and digital recordings. For this installment, titled "Mozzie! The Treasure!" I took a road trip to visit my friend Kirk Nybakken in Minot and we tore into the series premiere of USA Network's original series "White Collar," my Fuzzy Feature for this set.

In my Classic Collection, cataloging discs 1426 to 1450, I talk about "FlashForward," "Monk," "Criminal Minds," "Mad Men," "Mercy," "Grey's Anatomy," "Tales from the Darkside," "Nip/Tuck," "Community," "Glee," "The West Wing" and "Battlestar Galactica." Also, with this set I break into a new binder, Binder No. 8, so I take a moment to reminisce about what all turned up in Binder No. 7.

In my Current Collection, I only archived one disc, but that included the third season finale of "Kung Fu," and the series premiere of Bob Odenkirk in "Lucky Hank." I also watched the Netflix productions of "Cunk on Earth" and "BoJack Horseman," and Ralph stood me to "The Super Mario Brothers Movie," which was quite a lot of fun.

Today, Alyshia goes more in depth about Laban movement. Also known as Laban Movement Analysis, the aim of the study is to break down how movement can be expressed into it’s simplest forms, allowing a performer to call upon them and experiment in a thorough manner. The movement can be said to be drawn from physiological, emotional and psychological aspect as to how a person can move. The underlying theme is transparency and ease of access for the mannerisms an actor can make onstage but is also used across multiple disciplines for a variety of uses.

Grey’s Anatomy focuses on the lives of surgical interns, residents, and attendings as they develop into seasoned doctors while balancing personal and professional relationships.
The series follows the life of Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo), the daughter of the famous general surgeon Ellis Grey, starting from her acceptance into the surgical residency program at the fictional Seattle Grace Hospital. During her time as an intern, Grey works alongside fellow physicians Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh), Izzie Stevens (Katherine Heigl), Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) and George O'Malley (T. R. Knight).
