Episode 27: Songwriters Bev Herrema and Marcy Each Share About Their Song for Mothers Who Feel Pain on Mother’s Day

Mother's Day is a day of celebration for moms and grandmothers throughout the world, thanking them for all they did to help raise us into the people we are today. However, Mother's Day can also be a time of hardship and grief for mothers or grandmothers that have experienced loss in their family. Whether it is a the pain of a stillbirth, losing a child throughout their life, or being disconnected from their children after they grow up, there can be a lot of grieving on Mother's Day.

That is why we are so blessed to have songwriters and mothers Bev Herrema and Marcy Each on this week's episode. Bev and Marcy share how they developed passions for songwriting and how they used it to collaborate in the song Another Mother's Day. Another Mother's Day was written as a song to help mothers and grandmothers walk through their grief on mother's day.
