Deep Dive into Protection: Maintaining Your Energy at Every Level | Spirit Level Podcast (Episode 5)

Deep Dive into Protection: Maintaining Your Energy at Every Level | Spirit Level Podcast (Episode 5)

Do you occasionally feel off-kilter and spiritually vulnerable?
Would you like to develop a sense being in control of your spiritual life?
Does your job entail meeting with new or different people in a daily basis?
Do you feel under attack by negative energy, toxicity, and entities?
Ever feel like you're not a very likeable person?

This week we explore the importance of protecting our energy — not only from people — but also places, events, things, and “empath overwhelm.” We also learn what signs of lacking protection to look out for within ourselves.

In this episode, Fiongal explains why he personally prefers not to use the word “protection” and what he feels is a better term for the concept of guarding your energy, and why “negative energy” isn't always bad. Fiongal also shares the practice of asking yourself, “is it yours?”

We also discuss what this all means on a universal Collective level as well as on a personal Soul level with you as an individual, having boundaries, and why you shouldn't take it personally when others don't vibe with your energy or appear to dislike you.

Jamie shares what an energetically vulnerable experience it can be to teach a class. He also talks about what it can be like to take in heavier energy others bring into a room as an empath, and energy transfers.

By the end of this podcast we hope you will learn how to better maintain and guard your energy, how to ask for help, as well as understand what it means to ask yourself, “is it yours?”

Deep Dive into Grounding: How to Diagnose Ungroundedness and Tips | Spirit Level Podcast (Episode 4)

Deep Dive into Grounding: How to Diagnose Ungroundedness and Tips | Spirit Level Podcast (Episode 4)

Do you constantly feel like you're “procrastinating”?
Do you have feelings of unease and overthinking worst-case scenarios?
Are you getting clumsy and always losing things?
Do you find it difficult to finish that project you've started, engaging in distractions, or even feeling less connected to the people around you?
All of the above may be signs that you could use some grounding.

If you've been hearing the term “grounding” used a lot but was never quite sure what it means, this is the episode for you. In this week's episode, Fiongal and Jamie casually chat about feeling bogged down by getting “life stuff” done, which require a level of groundedness, particularly in today's fast moving environment.

In this deep dive into grounding we learn how to self-diagnose ungroundedness, the importance for having a firm foundation to be flexible, along with tips on how bring ourselves back into balance. We'll also be discussing if there’s a difference between “mindfulness” and “grounding” and of course the usual the usual banter from both.

What's especially interesting about this episode is Fiongal and Jamie have different approaches to grounding and groundedness. Fiongal also shares a lesson he learned from one of his psychic development students. Every individual soul is different, and we encourage incorporating what works for you, or develop your own methods of grounding. We hope you enjoy and find this episode inspiring!

    June 2023 Astrology Forecast

    June 2023 Astrology Forecast

Ryan is flying solo on this episode...MISS YOU MEGAN! She'll be back on the next one, promise!

Continuing our monthly astrology series, we're looking at the astrology of June 2023 and filling you in on the planetary movements taking place in the month ahead. Sorry this is coming a few days into June, but you'll still have most of the month to prepare for!

June is packed with planetary movements, but less chaotic overall than the past few months. We're talking about it with some high-level themes and going all-in on the concept of creativity and artistry this month, rather than going super in-depth by referencing every little move the planets are making. That said, there are some key transits we discuss as well including Jupiter and the North Node conjunct in Taurus, Venus entering Leo, the Sun and Mercury entering Cancer, Saturn and Neptune turning retrograde, plus information about the New Moon and Full Moons this month.

How do you think the cosmic energies will play out for you this June? What's your sunset looking like these days?

P.S. Here's the book I referenced & read quotes from in this episode: The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron

A grounded practice for everyday - Guided meditation

This is a wonderful practice, suitable for all levels, that connects us to the sensation of support and groundedness in the body. A form of body scan, this centering practice is great for everyday, one we can come back to whenever we want to reclaim our attention and recollect ourselves.

A useful tool in your mindfulness tool belt, sometimes just a few minutes is all it takes to come back to the here and now.

And remembering that while our minds enjoy the sensation of feeling settled, with this kind of grounding practise we offer them a break: as it is said, we learn to rest the mind on the body as the body rests on the cushion.

    Grounded Amidst Fear and Anxiety

    Grounded Amidst Fear and Anxiety

What if any moment of anxiety, anger, or tension could actually be a direct portal to a deeply felt sense of groundedness in yourself?

In this episode, we explore the practice of softening into our innate groundedness—the part of us that is always steady beneath the noise and chaos.

As Pema Chödrön said, “…behind all the hardening and tightening and rigidity of the heart, there’s always fear. But if you touch fear, behind fear there is a soft spot…”

As we cultivate greater awareness of our inner worlds, we can begin to notice and approach moments of “rigidity of the heart” with curiosity. When we do so, any moment of anxiety, tension, anger, resistance, etc. becomes a portal back to ourselves.

Ariel shares her experience of exploring this practice and offers a simple meditation to help you come back to your groundedness amidst those active moments of rigidity.

E08 - Remaining grounded during unprecedented times

E08 - Remaining grounded during unprecedented times

The least we can say is that we are navigating times of great collective turmoil. Times where shadows are roaring like maybe never before. This has a ripple effect collectively. That energetic ripple effect can happen to affect your ability to stay grounded or connected to your core greatly.

In this episode of Inner Alchemy Conversations we discuss: Remaining grounded during unprecedented times,

    • The energetics of what has been unfolding collectively.
    • What is the inner invitation of these collective energies.,
    • How to remain grounded throughout this great collective recalibration of human consciousness.
    • What does it imply in terms of your relationship to your own power.

We are navigating times of great collective shadow alchemy. Doing the best you can to remain connected to your light as all of this is unfolding, is more than ever important.

Thank you for listening and please share if it resonates.
