    Hennepen's Hemp, an Accessibility-Focused Business

    Hennepen's Hemp, an Accessibility-Focused Business
Hear the inspirational story of how a traumatic accident led Hennepen's Hemp CEO Bradford Beckermann to develop an accessibility-focused business model within the newly-blossoming hemp industry.

Diagnosed with traumatic brain injury and epilepsy after being struck by a car, Bradford embarked on a healing journey that led him through India, and eventually to cannabis and CBD. Years later, when he became CEO of Hennepen’s Hemp, Bradford decided to partner with the ARC program, the nation’s largest community-based organization advocating for and with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Now, adults with disabilities comprise a majority of Bradford's staff, bringing their solid work ethic, energy and charisma to Hennepen's Hemp company.

    Ep 06 - Bree Reynolds

Lots of people can make lemonade out of lemons, but a select few can make lemon meringue pie.

E14: Mourning Myself with Eve Chalom

After being struck by a car at age four, Eve Chalom lost her sense of hearing. While she regained some of her ability within six months, the emotional and energetic consequences of the accident stuck around for a lifetime. Also on the show, I answer a listener question about disclosing your grief story to others (especially nosy coworkers!). And I talk about the popular phrase, "One day at a time."
