Have you ever seen an oasis? The movie’s depiction of an oasis in the desert is a good one. In a desert of thirst, lush greenery pops up—a sure sign of water.

 

Paul had something like that in mind in the opening words of Philippians Chapter 2: a vision of people gathering together in a way that was refreshing and different—an oasis that brings life. It turns out that creating this oasis isn’t easy... but it’s not impossible. In fact, these verses offer two important ways we can be a part of this oasis effect. And who doesn’t want the oasis to be more than a mirage?

 

As we continue the summer series “Beyond Happy,” we explore what it looks like to resist being at the center and replicate the grace of Jesus.

We took the day off for Father's Day so we didn't give you a show. As a peace offering we are sharing something that I've been working on.
I've been practicing on my Numark digital turntables to say it in a fancy way . It's not vinyl I wish it was vinyl but an old dog sometimes has to learn new tricks or in this case an old duck LOL.

Eventually we'll do a couple Cursory Overload scratch practices.

Thanks for tuning in to a special Father’s Day Message for all the Dads out there including those who plan on being Fathers in the future. I thank God for my Father and how he raised us, the sacrifices he made that we will never know about and even the fact that he taught us how to Love others as Jesus would. We all grow up differently and I thank God that I realized the impact that my Father really had on my life growing up and how important it is to make sure I tell him how thankful I am. My prayer is that this short message will encourage Dads out there as they continue to raise their children no matter how old they are. Have a blessed Father's Day, be sure to share this with all the men in your lives. God Bless and Love To You All
