How do I know if my prayer life or devotional life is good enough? — Special Guests: Jessica Williams and Harold Carvajal

How do I know if my prayer life or devotional life is good enough? — Special Guests: Jessica Williams and Harold Carvajal

Season 2 was shot and recorded at the Collegedale Church, in Collegedale, TN, on the campus of Southern Adventist University.

Ryan's special guests for this season are made up of local pastors, students and university staff.

For most people, they question when they have done enough. Be whatever it is, but especially when it comes to their prayer life or devotional life. This is very true of those that are new to the faith and to those who have had a reconversion. Find out what Ryan's guest have to share on this matter.

Let us introduce you to this episode's special guests:
Jessica Williams is an Admissions Counselor at Southern Adventist University. For 13 years she taught Bible at Loma Linda Academy, and was heavily involved in the planning of SECC’s Junior-Senior Bible Conferences and One Life Retreats.  During her time at LLA, she was also a pilot teacher and contributor to the NAD Encounter High School Bible Curriculum. Jessica earned a B.A. in Theology and Religious Education from Southern Adventist University in 2005 and a M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from La Sierra University in 2018. In her spare time she enjoys travelling, snowskiing, spending time with family and friends, being active in the great outdoors, and curling up with a good book on a rainy day.

Harold Carvajal is a sophomore at Southern Adventist University. He was born in Paterson, New Jersey, but has lived in Cocoa, Florida since he was 6 years old. He is currently majoring in Finance, with the goal of working for SpaceX after he graduates. He is 18 years old, and will be turning 19 in May. Harold enjoys the outdoors greatly, so anything that deals with nature usually captures his interest. Since he has lived near the water for most of his life, many of his hobbies and interests deal with water and aquatic life. He loves to go swimming, fishing, and boating whenever he can while in Florida. However, while he is here in Tennessee, he does a lot of photography and hiking around the campus during his spare time. He also does a lot of longboarding whenever he gets a chance to. He enjoys going on road trips and exploring different places. He also loves learning about new cultures and new languages. Currently, he only knows Spanish and English, but has a goal of studying Italian over the summer.

    Neighbuzz Episode 21 – Karl Kennedy’s Trifle | Week Mar 9 – 13 AUS/ Mar 23 – 27 UK

It’s Neighbuzz! A Neighbours recap podcast, rehashing the events on Ramsay Street each week. In the 21st episode Vaya (@vayapashos) and Penny (pennytangey.com.au) discuss eps #7076 through to #7080 in the PirateNet studios.

This episode is disgusting… ly GOOD! That’s right, Matt Preston’s in Erinsborough and he’s going hungry as ERINSFEST 2015 cranks up with the saddest bake-off of all time… Also, Nate would rather have playdates with his new buddy Tyler, than plan playdates for Chris’ unborn kiddo, Paige is still torn between two Brennans (what a hard life), Paul uses reptiles to split up Damber, and Dr Nick cements himself as his new identity: Dr Dick.

ERINSFEST 2015 IS HERE! And Harold ruins it! The most anticipated guest of the Neighbours 30th Anniversary makes her re-appearance as a mirage; the shirts of the Brennan brothers are also mirages, Daniel’s life plan with Amber is worth the napkin it’s written on, there are no winners at the Off Air Bar’s Games Night, and sock puppet theatre traumatises us all.

Paige’s online sext-friend comes to Erinsborough with the reminder that sometimes people use fake photos on the internet; Bailey is the worst computer nerd in the history of nerds; Tyler Brennan gets some casual shifts as a hired goon; Harold is back with a campervan full of nostalgia; Suz and Sheila point a spy cam at a hot tub and are surprised when nudity happens; and Damber invite us into their love bubble.
