Professor Says a Human Can Be Killed With EMF Radiation Found at Home | Dr. Paul Héroux

Professor Says a Human Can Be Killed With EMF Radiation Found at Home | Dr. Paul Héroux

Dr. Paul Héroux is a scientist with a PhD in physics, 15 years of experience in engineering, and 30 years in the health sciences. His interest in how electromagnetic fields (EMF) interact with the human body began when he was doing research for the power industry.

When electrical workers contact wires, it can result in terrible injuries. Hence, the Canadian Electrical Association wanted someone to study the injuries of electrical burns. They wanted to understand these injuries better. Dr. Héroux volunteered for this research and dove deep into the world of biology.

After many years of research, Dr. Héroux doesn’t wear bluetooth headphones or use wireless routers at home. In fact, he told us that EMF radiation can even be used to kill a person in a lab under perfect conditions.

But how big of a problem is it today? Join us as we delve into Dr. Héroux’s findings.

    The headphone jack debate continues…

Lily Katz has this month’s Sound Bite and she has something to say about your precious headphone jack. She doesn’t need a headphone jack in her phone and she lays out her reasons for it. But how can a true “SoundGuy” (well SoundGirl) not care about the best audio possible? Well, she does. But she doesn’t necessarily get it from her phone. Home is where the headphone jack is, after all. Isn’t that how the saying goes?

We have all that and a few more surprises along the way in this episode of the SoundGuys podcast!

The real reason manufacturers ditched the headphone jack

The real reason manufacturers ditched the headphone jack

The headphone jack is controversial, but ditching it means more than just forcing customers to buy new headphones. It’s actually forcing customers to buy your new headphones. Chris Thomas takes a deep dive into why the headphone jack is disappearing on our phones, and it goes a lot deeper than you might think.

Headphones . Which are the right ones for you?

Headphones . Which are the right ones for you?

Headphones, such a personal choice. Do you like open back? Closed Back? What do you intend to use them for? If you're mixing in them do you need "extra" software? What's the best for both?

In this quick bite, we discuss the pros and cons of the bigger contenders and discuss the better qualities of some of the more "consumer" makes and models. If you're considering new headphones for the Voicebooth or the Studio, then this may well be the best 30 odd minutes you'll spend this week.
