In this episode, we’re going to talk about a few more things that stand in the way of plowing up our ground and living in deeper intimacy and fellowship with the Lord. I’m going to call it, “Possessive Plow Syndrome.” These are places where we are holding the plow tightly, like we can do something in our own strength and still experience the power and presence of God in that place.

There are areas in our lives where we have, often times inadvertently, shut God out of. We have fenced off areas of our lives, where we have told the Lord that we don’t need His help. Naturally, that ground has been left unplowed and untended by the Presence and Power of God—not because He is unable but because we have been unwilling. We have set up boundaries, and He has respected them.

Three specific ways we do that are by making and keeping idols in our lives, by making vows, and by making soul ties to others.

I got fired. Forget about looking for the silver lining. Go for the blue sky! God’s hand is in everything. He either created it or allowed it. It’s our job to accept it. Not easy sometimes. Here is a replay of my farewell address two years ago.

Who or what is your anchor when things get choppy? Is it a person or a place or a thing that you go to? There was a time when my tiny ‘God-anchor’ was being dragged all over the ocean bottom. I was drifting. Drifting feels fine when things are going well, but when the storm hits, you’re lost.

For some, finding the silver lining in those dark storm clouds is enough. In this episode, we learn how to find the blue sky.

Miracle Moment – For Scott and Debbie Denton, the blue sky was found at a Dr. Nemeh healing service, as well as the doctor’s medical office. The pain in Debbie’s feet, from Plantar Fasciitis, kept her seated for most of her day. Now, the ‘irreversible’ pain is gone.

They do a solid job in telling much of the life story of Louis Zamperini who survived torturous treatment in a Japanese prisoner of war camp during World War II. I will provide the missing WOW of God that isn’t covered in the movie … Louis’ life was completely transformed by attending a Billy Graham tent revival and remembering a promise he had made to God.

Miracle Moment – Carol Schoherr, Cathy McPhail, and Linda Campbell all felt the WOW while attending a recent Dr. Nemeh healing service. Issues of the esophagus, legs, and rheumatoid arthritis were all relieved.

Now that is a headline worth a conversation in the Christian community. A God that puts things into motion and then drops the wand.

Dr. Issam Nemeh prays, things happen. Miracles happen, in the name of Jesus Christ. God is the Healer. Each week, I document at least one Miracle Moment. God is the most amazing magician of them all! And the beauty is,there is no deception. When the individual being prayed for is open and loving, coupled with the prayers of a man with unshakable faith, God manifests with a miracle. Why?Because God is love, and miracles get our attention. Miracles point the way to Jesus Christ.

Being a Catholic (and former ‘cafeteria Catholic’), where I would pick and choose which Christian teachings were right for me, I get it when someone decides that Genesis doesn’t fit their thinking. However, it’s a bit disturbing when it comes from the leader of 1.2 billion Catholics.

The slippery slope …
So, if Genesis isn’t true, what other parts of the Bible aren’t true? Dr. Issam Nemeh has been warning us for some time now that the church would be becoming more bold in its separating itself from Jesus Christ, in order to embrace the concept that all faiths serve the same God. Not so. Our God is a Trinity.

Issam’s Insight with Dr. Issam Nemeh – Although the Pope’s comments are saddening, it is yet another sign that the second outpouring of the Holy Spirit is all that much closer to us. The divide in the church is coming.  Our job?  Follow Christ.
