What determines our eternal rewards?

1. Loving Jesus and His Kingdom through prayer, study, and fellowship. 
2. Loving and serving other people. 
3. Making disciples of those around us. 

God wants a BIG family, and we are privileged to help Him build it!

2 Timothy 4:7-8

What increases Eternal Rewards?

1. Be obedient to God's word and God's leading. 
2. Learn from your leaders and mentors. 
3. Don't Quit!

What hinders Eternal Rewards?

1. Sin and selfish living will burn up in the fire of judgement. 
2. Good ideas that aren't "God" ideas will burn up. 
3. Procrastination blocks eternal rewards. 

Eternity is like an endless road. Our life on earth is like One Step on the journey. Give your life to Jesus and make the journey with Him. 

What we do in this life determines where we spend eternity and how we spend eternity.

Rewards in Heaven
        "For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward." (Mark 9:41) 
         "Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire."  (I Corinthians 3:12-15) 

We continue to examine the Apostle Paul's warning to the Corinthians church in 1st Corinthians 3 as he introduces the idea of Christians standing in judgement before Christ to give an account of their lives. Sadly, for a majority of people, most of what we claim to believe and understand about Heaven is based more in popular literature, movies or television than in scripture. So it is not uncommon to discover that many Christians do not understand that their are two judgements mentioned in the New Testament and both have huge eternal consequences. Most would recognize the "Great White Throne" judgment mentioned in the Book of Revelation where all mankind will give an account for their lives and how they responded to Jesus Christ invitation of salvation, but many do not understand about the second judgment that Christians will face. This will not be a judgment of sin but rather one of stewardship. Join us as we explore what this place of judgment will be and how our lives lived for Christ today will greatly affect the outcome.
