This weeks my guests are a mother and daughter, Brooke and Stephanie Mills. They talk about how Brooke's life changed in an instant when she sustained a concussion during a gym class. We talk about the long road of recovery, asking questions and finding your voice. Brooke and Stephanie discuss her symptoms the changes she encountered that impacted her life and her entire family. We learn what kept her motivated, how crucial support is during an injury to present what she along with her mom have done since her injury to help others regarding concussion. Brooke has become an ambassador recording numerous public service announcements in her state. She founded NH Concussion Awareness Day, and with the help of her mom founded LessenTheImpact.Org . and started her own blog This is a heartfelt, and inspirational conversation regarding the topic of concussion that so often misunderstood giving real hope through their journey.
