    Corporate Worship - Audio

    Corporate Worship - Audio
You and I are made, formed, created to be worshipers, is because even though you or I may not adoringly respond in heart and mind to the Spirit of God 24/7, we are nevertheless 24/7 adoringly responding in heart and mind to something. And you might say, “No, that’s not true, sometimes I’m just depressed,” and I’m just saying sometimes adoration leads people to depression when it’s not expressed, not sent towards the right object of worship.

Exodus 35-40 - God designed the Tabernacle to allow Him to be close to His people.  It was unique, beautiful, and center to the life of Israel.  We are the tabernacle of God designed for the same purposes.  This week as we live in the world, may we be unique, beautiful reflections of God's glory and care for His people.  Each of us has a role and all of us must do our part.

    Episode 12: Law Vs Grace

    Episode 12: Law Vs Grace
Is there any reason to pursue a deeper understanding of the law vs grace? There is if we truly believe that Jesus was the promised messiah, and that he came, not to abolish the law, but to fulfill it, then we need to know what that means for us, now, in our daily walks with him. Otherwise, we will blend the law and grace creating a hybrid Christian faith that blurs the lines between the 2, thus blurring our understanding of Jesus and what it means to follow him as well as to look like him. Perhaps the confusion comes, on one level, because we claim salvation through Jesus, but at the same time we have lost sight of what it looks like to live out our lives according to Jesus’ example leading up to his death on the cross. And for Gentile followers of Jesus, this is particularly concerning since gentiles were never under the first covenant under the law to begin with. It was only after Jesus fulfilled the law, thus rendering the first covenant null and void, that the second covenant of grace was extended to include gentiles as well. In that the new covenant was established on better promises, though, why would anyone, jew or gentile alike, ever choose to be subject again to such a yoke of slavery?

Are We Happy In The Outer Court?

Are We Happy In The Outer Court?
In the message "Are We Happy In The Outer Court?", Pastor Jerry looks at the holy temple and the parts that make it up. There is the outer court, the inner court and the Holy of Holies. These parts have significant meaning as to where our walk with The Lord is at. We enter His Outer Courts with thanksgiving. This is a key to entering into His Presence. We enter His Inner Court with worship. This is only accomplished by worshipers. Anyone can be thankful but only those who love can worship. It requires more to get into the inner court. Then there is the Holy of Holies. This can only be accessed by Faith in Jesus, our High Priest. This gives us access to the throne of God's Grace!& Grace gives us access to Mercy! Let's get into the Holy of Holies and truly let The Lord take control of our lives.

Leaving Religion 4: Jesus Our Hero, Part 2 (Heb 8-10) - Audio

Leaving Religion 4: Jesus Our Hero, Part 2 (Heb 8-10) - Audio
“Leaving Religion” is a call to adventure. As humans, we labor to erect sturdy, safe cathedrals to protect our lives. We want easy, affordable religion. Something that doesn’t demand too much of us. When Rome’s emperor Nero turned against Christians, Jewish believers found an easy solution: Judaism. As a religion recognized by Rome, joining the synagogue offered safety. But worship, vocation, and God cannot be squeezed into our safe cathedrals. So Hebrews calls these believers (and us!) into an adventure—something costly, but transformative. To journey the long, difficult road of faith. Engaging Jesus’ life means departing from religion’s cathedral. *See graphic message refers to here: http://srp.alldigital.net/B5B1FC01/54019019/pdf/20621481_85.pdf
